    I may be mistaken, but I thought the appeal of a trap character was not knowing that they were a trap in the first place. Moreover, traps aren't exactly a theme or a genre in everyday anime. Hentai would be a whole different story here I'm sure.

    The only genuine anime all about traps I know of are Himegoto and Wandering Son

    That isn't to say that they do turn up in unexpected series from time to time, as your Re Zero pic demonstrates. Steins Gate, Paradise Kiss, Blend S, Highschool DxD there is a lot out there. What is good.... well who can say for sure?
    You may be interested to learn that we had a Traptember game a few years ago where we nominated such characters. That could be a good place to look as well.
