Bang Dream's New Anime Seasons Replace Issen, Xebec Studios With Sanzigen

The official YouTube channel for the BanG Dream! franchise began streaming the video for the second season of the BanG Dream! television anime on Saturday. The video confirms that the CG animation studio Sanzigen (Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life, BBK/BRNK) is replacing ISSEN and Xebec on the production of both the second and third seasons.



The franchise's YouTube channel and website is also streaming the video for the BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! ☆ Pico mini anime. The video confirms that DMM.futureworks (Nora, Princess, and Stray Cat) and SANZIGEN Animation Studio are producing the mini anime.





A live-stream presentation for the BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! game had announced last month that the members of the BanG Dream! band Pastel*Palettes will star in an anime titled Pastel Life. The staff has not specified the relationship between the previous Pastel Life announcement and the new BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! ☆ Pico announcement.

BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! ☆ Pico will premiere on July 5, while the second and third seasons of the main BanG Dream! television anime will premiere in January and October of 2019, respectively.

The main BanG Dream! television anime's first 13-episode season premiered in January 2017, and Anime Network Online and Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired in Japan.

Sentai Filmworks will release the first season with English subtitles on home video on June 19, and it describes the story:

When she was a child, Kasumi Toyama (played by Poppin' Party's lead singer, Aimi) felt a heart-pounding thrill every time she gazed at the stars, and she's been looking without success for something that could inspire the same feeling ever since. One day, she comes across a star-shaped guitar in a rundown pawnshop and, for the first time, discovers the thrill she's been searching for. Kasumi becomes determined to form an all-girl band, and her search leads her to four like-minded souls: Saya, Arisa, Rimi, and Tae (all brought to life by the members of Poppin' Party). Does this band have what it takes to make their dreams of stardom come true?

Bushiroad launched the BanG Dream! multimedia project in January 2015, and the company formed the Poppin' Party band for the project in February 2015. The project's other bands include Happy World!, Pastel*Palettes, Afterglow, Roselia, and most recently, an all-male band called Argonavis. The band members consist of voice cast members who portray the characters in the story, and they play the same instruments as their characters.

The BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! smartphone game launched in Japan in March 2017, and an English version launched in April.

hold up just there. are you telling me that there will be a 2 and 3 season of bang dream with another series specific for paspal? also will the series be already replacing lisa's va in the series? i still havent searched why she chose to retire now that the franchise is starting to boom.

According to news, she was replaced with Yuki Nakashima, and also, is it worth the watch?

 

if you are into band/music/drama anime then this one is for you. id say i enjoyed this one with some cringe worthy moments but it still something worth watching. well i wonder how an unknown va will take on the job for lisa.
