I'm pretty sure Natsu has seen Magi, but unfortunately this thread is for anime airing currently in the Spring season.

Already watched Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, The Kingdom of Magic and The Adventures of Sinbad, gave it good ratings for both plot and the animation for it, definitely one of the best fantasy series there is, but not the absolute best

Holy shit time to pick up Last Period. Next episode they've got all the Higurashi characters, which means fucking Rena returns to anime.

 

I just caught up with Comic Girls, It's funny and adorable at the same time, which is convenient considering I'm also watching My Hero Academia 3 and High School DxD Hero

 

Now watch Last Period and on Thursday we can shitpost about Rena and how she saved the show.

Nah, I dropped the manga about 30 chapters in but I'm aware how edgy it is.

 

I miss those times where anime and videogames mattered more than work and school, though one of them is more important than the other imo

I haven't watched it yet, but a buddy of mine said that, in a nutshell, it was basically Madoka 3.0 but more edgier, might give it a shot

Not everything is like Madoka, just because it's edgy, doesn't mean it's like Madoka. It's more like Akame ga Kill in that it's so edgy you cannot take it seriously and just end up laughing at it.

 

If you want to laugh, try watching Ousama Game, it's supposed to scare you, but instead it just makes you laugh at the sheer stupidity that the characters have and the deaths are something to laugh at rather than pity

But yeah, Madoka 3.0 is what my buddy called it, I'll be the judge of that, psychological is not my best genre but I can try

Good, I saw some scenes and images of the anime and from what I saw, it was horrible, the setup was interesting, but the execution was terrible, especially when the anime is adapting the second manga, with flashbacks of the first manga, think Mahou Sensou or Taboo Tattoo for example

Guilty as charged, this is one of the few psychological anime I've actually enjoyed, I need to update some of those ratings as my tastes have updated and I want to do reviews as well sometime in the near future

 

Seeing the amount of stuff you rate 9's and 10's yeah I agree you need to go back and have a look at them, especially if you're gonna review them.

You should keep your average around 5-7, for example, my mean score is 6.58, while yours is up around 8.

By the way, I saw who you have in your 'Favourite People' section, cheeky little bastard.

@Supernatural-Knight How you liking Tachibanakan? I'm fucking hating it, it's rushed af, it really needed to be 24 minutes.

 

Yeah I'm gonna work on it, has been a while since I watched them and some of them are even pretty bad, may follow your tip to an extend, also I need to add a few H anime to my list and well rate them as well, but that one's going to be for another time

Most of the ratings were from my youthful self who enjoyed pretty much anything, so I need to fix it now that I'm older and taking things more seriously

Edit: Done updating, may need more refinement, but that's something to take care of later

 

I'd just like to highlight my disappointment in Last Period for basically giving Rena no voiced lines. It was essentially just a glorified cameo. She got T H I C C tho.
