so its pretty much a k-on 2.0?

i havent watched an anime in a while and i liked to make a come back watching music related anime. if this is just going to be cute things activities and less about brass club activities, i might enjoy it less. id still enjoy it but im expecting real club activities now.

 

oh so less goofing around huh. interesting. so kyoAni is doing something different. ok ill watch it asap (depending on work time still -_-).

you know what, i find it amusing this coming from you of all people. maybe? who knows. im the same as to what pulled me to that anime. for sure i came for the music but i dont know what made me stay. xD

ok so i made a little dig and made a little comparison.

kon:
Genres: Slice of Life, Comedy, Music, School

euphonium:
Genres: Music, Drama, School

its now pretty clear why i stayed in k-on now. it has comedy and slice of life added to music. with euphonium uniquely tagged as drama, no wonder you enjoyed it less.

the time has come for me to watch cowboy bebop and and now prepared for the ride. thing is, i dont know which train to take if ill take the dub or the sub version of the series.

first 2 replies of either dub or sub will be the version ill be watching.

 

You could always watch the first episode in both dub and sub, then you could see which one you like best and continue down that road.

 

Watch it dubbed, there's really nothing Japanese about this anime (Japanese school, setting, culture references, etc). It's not some obscure dub cast either. It also has Cowboy in it's title as if to target an English speaking crowd (although that's a wild guess on my part).

There's also an "Alien" reference in one of the episodes which is perfect in the dub. Alien as in the classic 1979 movie from Ridley Scott. I'm not saying the subbed messes it up (I have no idea) but it just seems this anime was really made for the English dub.
My two cents.

 

thanks for the inputs you two. both are reasonable enough and i have decided to watch it dubbed. now that im at it, ill now watch my second series using the stream section of the site.

 

Does anyone watch Little Witch Academia and can tell me if it's any good? I dunno, it kinda caught my interest.

id suggest watching it in ascending order by number of eps with k-on last. i put k-on last just to finish you mood in a light way.
