Alistair let out an exasperated sigh. It was simpler to just kill and be done with it. he knew that. His prey knew that. Yet this girl was different. Beasts didn't use enchanted chains for one. They also didn't display this level of rational thinking. Or phase through walls.
But he could hear the footsteps below. Alistair drew the gun slung across his back and aimed at the ground near his feet. The gun wasn't accurate and tended to be a last ditch tool in his arsenal. But it was destructive. He pulled the trigger, firing dozens of a pellets at the wooden floorboards, which burst into splinters and dust on contact.
Before the shards of wood had settled, he had dropped down through the hole into the floor below, landing in a crouch.
"OK, I lied about being unarmed." Alstair continued in his attempt to calm the girl, which, he reflected, wasn't helped by the fact he'd just exploded through the ceiling.
"Can we just talk? If it helps," he held his hands out in front of him, "you can bind my hands together so I can't do anything tricky."
This course of action went completely against his instincts and common sense, but tonight wasn't really a common day.

Brad finally started to calm down at the mention of breakfast.
"Alright, alright...but if I see that whatever-it-is anywhere around here, I'ma shoot it!"
He sat down at the table, looking quite pleased with the plate of pancakes in front of him. But it sounded like Ella had something important to talk about, so he left the tasty food alone for now looked up at her.
"So, whatcha wanna talk about? It's something big, isn't it?"

The village wasn't too terribly far. Although Neji did happen to find that some of the terrain was not to his liking. He arrived at the village shortly before the sun had started to go down. Among the usual hubbub of town noise he noticed that there was a distinct sound of alarm and caution in the movement and speech of the town people. Perhaps there had been an attack here. Or perhaps there is going to be an attack here.

Looking at the signs in the city, he scratched his head trying to wrap his head around what the symbols were that were written on it. Their language was so different and alien than his own. He knew he had traveled a long way, but he didn't think that their language would differ so much that mutual understanding would cease to exist.

Neji eventually gave up. He wasn't likely to find someone willing to help him in this town since he couldn't speak their language or understand it. He eventually led himself to a remote corner of the town. Near what appeared to be an abandoned building, he laid his pack down and began to drift off into a light doze. He hoped that he could meet someone the next day that would be able to help him.

"Yes I need to talk to you about my reason for leaving, and about something that happened to me last night"
    she sighed
"I can't explain it right now, not with Zoe in the room. Lets discuss this more after we have had something to eat"
Ella walked over to the plate of pancakes and started separating them into separate plates for the others. Once they were all evenly distributed she placed the plates at each seat of the table, then took her place at the head of the table
"Lets not let this food go to waste now, enjoy"

Adolph attempted following Beatrice, but Lust gave him a look, as if to say Wait.
Lust and Adolph followed Beatrice into the shimmering air a little while later, allowing Beatrice to try this out for herself first. In the next instant, they were in a long, narrow tunnel. Adolph paled slightly, imagining how long they would have to walk.
"So we walk until we get somewhere?"
"Only a few steps, then we turn around. Anybody new to this and unfortunate will spend hours trying to reach the end of this tunnel," Lust turned to him as she spoke. "I need to tell you something. Those Pashion canisters I gave you, do you know what they do?"
"Only what you have told me. I have been hesitant on using them because of the 'odd side effects'."
"That was what I wanted to talk to you about. I didn't plan on not telling you, but since I will be travelling with you, I have decided I should be entirely honest with you. It won't harm you if you use it. However..."
Lust then took a deep breath before continuing.
    "...It will make you horny."
    "...Huh?"
"You will become strongly attracted to the opposite sex. You have a strong will, so you should be able to show some restraint. Any other person with less will would lose themselves in a lust-driven frenzy, for at least thirty minutes."
Lust firmly put a hand on his shoulder, smiling with an air of confidence.
"So I am trusting you to protect your chastity for Beatrice."
Adolph was speechless. If he had known the effects before hand, he would have gotten rid of the canisters long ago.
"Well, time to go the way we came. Beatrice will be waiting for us. Lunara will be following shortly, probably so she can properly shut down the passage without interruption."
Lust turned and walked towards the shimmering space held suspended in the air.
Blast it! I forgot my coat and the cloak I wanted Beatrice to use! And the decoy gun, but those are cheap to replace.
Adolph followed along, cursing the loss of his possessions. The young man and the goddess passed through the shimmering space before vanishing from the tunnel.

The light hurt his eyes, as he tried to adjust to the sudden change in lighting. In stark contrast to being in a tunnel, the landscape was filled with green fields and with nearby stone mountains. They were at the edge of a town, the one Adolph assumed to be Greenforge. Lust was already standing with Beatrice, talking about something he could not hear. When he tried to overhear what they were saying, their conversation had ended.

Not like I could have tried to be stealthy in broad daylight.
Beatrice turned to Adolph, seeing how worn out he was.
"Adolph, we are going to my home here. Get you cleaned up and let you rest up. It looks like you have had a rough time. Hopefully, we will get to stay here for some time."
    "That... would be nice."
Adolph was beginning to feel dizzy, his vision growing hazy.
    "I like this town. Peaceful..."

Zillis has finished packing and went downstairs. He looked over to the kitchen to see that everyone was still eating. Giving a decisive look at Ella he nodded his head and began walking out. He left his stuff by the door letting Ella know to pack it on the carriage on the way out. Opening the door he stepped outside however what he stepped into wasn't the world. His physical form remained just a step outside the door but his time and reality seemed to have paused. No one would notice what was going on but he wasn't part of the same reality as everyone else was for a moment.

"W...where am I?" was what he uttered out of his mouth as everything in front of him was just a white abyss. It slowly was gaining an image he was standing on a what would appear to be a giant rocky platform, mostly leveled to be even and walkable. What was beginning to come in site seemed like a place that was being constructed has he spoke. In the center of where everything was seemed to stand a man... He was of average height it appeared and his physical form had no details. Zillis started walking closer to this entity and then suddenly was locked inside of a cage.

"My child, do you know why you are here?" Sylvis spoke out. Though her voice was gentle and warming she had an authority to the way she spoke. "I appear to you as a man as men are a symbol of power. However I have given creation to all things in this world. Including you. Though you are my son. I've summoned you to warn you there is a great threat approaching you and your friends, he isn't a deity he is a descendant. Be prepared for he will approach fast." The new realm he was hosted in began to crumble around him as Zillis retained consciousness.

Zillis, didn't know what he just saw, on one hand he realized whoever he was talking to was important and had an idea of what was going on. Turning around he looked into the doorway and spoke out one phrase. "The king is coming. Hurry up and prepare."

Zillis continued walking out of the house and into the street. Suddenly everything became so clear what Sylvis was saying, He sensed something was coming it had similar strength to him but in a different way. Whatever was coming was closing in fast.

Oswald stared into Ellas eyes with concern. "It must be important if you wish to talk in private we can right after breakfast." Oswald wasn't a big eater he had half of a pancake and then slid the rest over To Zoe. Once everything seemed to have calmed down he drew his attention back over to Ella.

"So is there something you want to tell me?" suddenly he was interrupted by Zillis giving warning to them about something coming. Oswald was one to take caution so he stayed around at the table before getting up to see what was going on.

Off in the distance there seemed to be a cloud of darkness slowly rolling in.

Xia had made it back to her "employer" and retrieved the rest of her pay form her last kill. "I'm taking the rest of the day off." She stated flatly, after she had counted out her gold. "I have a family matter to attend to."
Xia's employer nodded his head once. "Be sure to check back in when you get back." He told her. Since Xia had killed everyone she was assigned to kill, and without discovery or questions, he could afford to let her go for one day.
Xia rose from the table, as she pulled her long black hair from her shoulders. "No one is to follow me." She added in a firm tone.
Xia's employer sighed softly, then nodded his head. "As you wish."
Xia turned and made her way back to the hidden entrance. "I'll return tomorrow." She looked back over her shoulder, as if giving her employer a visual reminder, before disappearing.

Brad nodded with a slight grin.
"You don't gotta tell me twice."
He started chowing down on the pancakes without a care in the world. He kinda forgot about the maple syrup on the table until after he'd started his first bite, so he picked up the bottle, held it over his head and squirted some down into his mouth. He then poured it over the rest of his breakfast and started eating in a more civilized manner. He's not the kind of person to talk and eat at the same time, so he kept going until his plate was empty...which didn't take long, at which point he started speaking again.
"Thanks for breakfast, two thumbs up as usual!"
He quickly wiped his mouth and continued.
"Honestly, I'm not too worried about the "why" 'cause if you figure it's time to move out, I'm all for it. I can get packed up real quick if you need me to."

Brad's eyes widened and he shot up in his seat.
"Whoa, what?! They better not get here too quick...I need to grab Bessie!"
For the record, Bessie or Big Bessie is the name he gave to his gatling gun.

Helen read over Terios's shoulder as he went through the old book. It was quite a fascinating tale, speaking of forgotten legends and deeds you could find in any fairy tale in the library. Although the way this one was written seemed to portray the events in a truthful light. It created the question in her mind whether to consider it as fact or disregard it as fanciful. She wondered why Terios was so concerned with this series of books.

Laeta bounded around inside of the book and Terios' head as he read. The man seemed to possess a good imagination, creating a world behind his eyes as he read. The young goddess took delight in taking center stage as the main character and trouncing around as a glorious hero. The story progressed and she got completely caught up in the person she was impersonating. She was just about to accomplish her great task when a great feeling of dread tore her from the fantasy world.

    Godslayer...

She pulled herself from Terios' mind, finding the task to be quite challenging for her. That'
s odd. A quick check of her telepathic link with her twin showed that she only had a weak connection. A very strange thing indeed. This couldn't be good for either of her.

    (I'm NERFED:()

Through the link she felt something oily and foul. Darkness was the only one who had that kind of presence. The thought that he had returned, now of all times, was a very bad omen indeed.

"I don't think you should be reading these books," she told Terios in a somber tone that seemed unlike her. "Nothing good can come of this knowledge.

Helen noted Laeta's sudden reappearance, and the god's aura seemed to have dulled slightly along with her mood. While she'd read hundreds of books on different theologies, there was no real knowledge on divine beings actually existing. That could only mean, barring some sort of cosmic rules only the divine would know, that the book the assassin was reading was to blame.

"What do you hope to learn from these books you've been hunting?"

    Title: Man Eater

    Race: Unknown, Abomination

Age: Unknown, visibly in his late 20s, if asked will reply in his late 1800s

    Sex: Visibly Male

Strength: Can eat indefinitely, extremely tough skin due to his molecular structure and high amount of covalently sigma bonded atoms, highly corrosive innards, great sense of smell and hearing.

Weakness: Horrible fighter, can't speak properly, big target, bad eyesight.

    Preferred weapon(s): His mouth.

    Alliegence: Chaos

    Appearance:
Völlerei constant and most visibly seen wear of apparel is that of a long light brown trench coat, adorned in black runic symbols, from the sleeves and along the back. Long brimmed light brown hat, a black t-shirt with a white runic symbol on the front, light brown dress pants with a black belt strung around, black steel toed boots, black fingerless gloves, and a pair of dark red rimless shades. He wears a comedic ventriloquist mask which conceals his mouth.
He stands at a magnificent 6ft11 and has no defined, measurable weight whilst generally looking lean and muscular.
The face of this abomination is horribly distorted and scarred. The eyes are solely the sclera, causing them to be entirely white and giving the impression that he is visually impaired.

Lunara waited for everyone to get through the passage before entering herself. She spread out her arms, bringing them down quickly. The walls began shaking, soon collapsing all around as she did a small twirl, causing the rubble to begin slamming into the walls. She turned around and walked the other way, the passage behind her continuing to break down. Within seconds she was beside the others, gleaming as per usual.

Vox continued to scream in pain, the stick poke hardly registering.

Darkness melts back into his shadows.

OOT: Seperate post for Völlerei tomorrow.

Laeta 2.0 watches as Voidy vanishes into the corner of the room and his aura vanishes from her immediate perception. Big brother never was one for conversations, or hugs, or talking, or being around others in general. He had always been like that, sadly.

Noticing that her stick poking wasn't really having any effect on the disabled Vox, Laeta bored of teh activity and abandoned it. Instead she turned her attention to the Old Man and went to stand before him.

"That's quite a bind you've gotten yourself into," Laeta said with a tiny smirk at the trussed up god. "So what's new?"

~ His vision swam and came into focus centered around the village where he was currently staying. Then, with a jerk, his vision suddenly sped across the landscape to another village. As his vision moved, it stopped and allowed him to note certain landmarks and continued to this village where some strange people had suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Three women and one man seemingly popping into existence as if having been placed there by an unseen hand.

His vision started to go dark and was wrenched away from what he had been viewing to come to face a pair of evil eyes shrouded in darkness. "Your sight will not save anyone... this world belongs to me!" ~

Neji woke with a start pushing himself up against the wall he had been leaning against when he had fell asleep. His eyes were wide with terror and his body was covered in cold sweat. What the hell did I just see? He asked himself. He still felt as if those pair of eyes he had seen were still upon him. And he couldn't shake that feeling.

After taking a few minutes to collect himself, he dug through his pack to obtain some of the rations he had saved and began to munch on them silently while trying to sort his thoughts. The vision had told him which rout to take towards the village it wanted him to go to. He didn't know who the people were, or why the visions wanted him to go there, but he would go nonetheless.

He stole a swig of water from a well faucet and shouldered his pack. Looking towards the east, he could tell the sun was about to come up. He could also tell that there was an army on the horizon. It's dust trail and smoke rising like an omen beyond the horizon. 3 or 4 days was all this town had before it would get here. Neji would be long gone before that happened. Hopefully a whole week ahead of the army.

He adjusted the straps on his pack, hearing the creak of the leather armor inside, and strode off out of the town. His path, through the forest, completely ignoring the roads. As a precaution, since the forest was dangerous, he silently flicked the guard of his katana causing it to slide about an inch out of the sheath. He was ready for an ambush if it were to happen.

The old man, whom had previously been slack in his restraints with his head hanging down, suddenly looked up at Laeta, grinning smugly, "Nothing I won't get out of. And this time I won't be merciful." Darkness' venom had started to spread through him, slowly devouring any good he had.

Vox also began to feel the effects. Her body had rapidly decomposed before rebuilding soon after the assault. The only physical difference being the slightly darkened tone of her skin. She slowly began to stand up, her joints aching with newfound pain. She stared at Laeta.

Völlerei stumbled towards a group of the King's Soldier. He pretended to hiccup, allowing his body to collapse onto a soldier. Slowly he got up, "I'm so sorry chap," hiccup, "I didn't notice you there!"
The group, consisting of 5, pushed the man away, "Leave this premises now! You do not have permission to be here."
Once again he produced a hiccup, "Sure I am! I'm on the list! Look here..." He brought his hand up to his face, pulling off the mask covering his face. His mouth was not as it should've been - the edges seemed to be 'cut' further towards the ears and inside... he had multiple sets of teeth as well as something else.
From within flew out multiple tendrils, each flying towards and wrapping around a soldier and until they were mummified. They then slowly began pulling back in, one after another. His jaw unhinged and his mouth widened to an inhumane state as person after person was pulled in. The space within his mouth seemed endless as it managed to contain all the soldiers at once. The final part of the process was his teeth to clamp shut; his jaw followed in suite, and finally his lips shutting tightly. In his mouth, a gas began filling - the bodies within started to melt into a liquid version of the gas. Soon it was complete and he happily swallowed the remaining substance.

"There is something I want to discuss with everyone. I think it might be of great concern for all of us..."
Ella turned her attention to Zillis who interrupted their conversation

    Ella simply nodded
"I suppose that we should pack soon"

    Ella stood up
"Now wait, I said I was ready to leave, but I need some time"
    She looked over a Zillis
"Exactly how much time are we talking here. I cant just simply up and leave in a matter of minutes."

"Let's go, everyone. To my house!"
Beatrice headed off the group, waving her hand to them, leading the group to the town. They entered the town, and continued on until they came to a rather large building for a home.
“This is the family store and my home. Let's go in.”
Beatrice unlocked the door and let everyone walk in before entering in herself and shutting the door.
“Make yourselves at home. I'll get something for us to eat and drink.”
Lust took in her surroundings, taking in the familiar surroundings of a home she used to live in twenty years, and followed Beatrice into the kitchen.
“This is a nice place, the kind of home I would have wanted to have.”
“My father and mother started this store before I was born. My father told me about it.”
    “Where is he?”
Beatrice began pulling cups from the cabinets and filling them with wine.
“He's traveling. Always loved going places, then staying at home, minding the store as a way to relax. Would you mind getting the bread and honey from that cabinet?”
Lust sighed in relief. The news of him not being dead was what she had hoped for. She grabbed the requested victuals from the cabinet, and began making sandwiches.
    “What about your mother?”
“I don't remember her. Father told me about her, how she was pretty and fun, and how they met while he was traveling. After that, they began to travel together and got married after that. She had to leave for some reason, though. Father was able to take it well, somehow.”
“Do you... hate her for it?”
Beatrice handed her a glass of the wine. A favorite of Lust's.
“No. I don't think so. It's hard for me to tell, honestly. Father seemed rather relaxed about it, and he never had another woman. I don't know why she had couldn't be with me, but seeing how father was not upset about it confuses me.”
An audible thump was heard from the living room, interrupting the conversation.

Adolph stood in place waiting for Beatrice and Lust to come back, not knowing what Lunara was doing. He was stuck in a daze, hardly able to remember how they got here. Dots began to form in his vision, and his sense of balance decayed.

    I don't think I am feeling well.
He tried to kneel down, but his legs gave way and he dropped to the ground, losing consciousness before he hit the carpeted floor.

Terios, who for the most part ignored the presence of the goddess in his mind as he continued reading, noticed a drastic change in her when he reached a certain part of the story. He lowered the book slightly and gave Laeta a curious look when he felt her pulling away from his mind and speaking in a much more sullen tone than before. He was about to ask her what was wrong when Helen asked about the purpose of his research, so he felt that this was as good a time as any to fill them in. He let out a small sigh and put down the book he was still holding, turning to them to explain.
"I suppose there's no harm in explaining. Besides," he said with a brief glance towards Laeta, "it's not like I can stop you from finding out, I guess. So...here goes."
He folded his arms and lowered his gaze.
"I'm with a group known as the Night Watch. We're not with any rebel army or rival kingdom; I guess you could call us a guild, but even that makes it sounds more organized than it really is. We're an order of assassins with no centralized leadership, base of operations or all-encompassing creed. We fight, we kill, we'll do whatever it takes to drag the king down from his throne so that one of these days, we can finally deliver the justice that he's got coming to him. Now...you want to know what that has to do with these books?"

He picked up the book and opened it again, turning it back to the page he was on when Laeta left his mind.
"There's a rumor going around in the order. They say that the king is getting his power from some kind of demon or dark god. Well, I figure if he's using some kind of godlike power then we should fight back with another godlike power if we can. That's why I started looking into these books. I know it's a long shot, but...if there's even a chance..."
His voice started to trail off and his expression turned somber. He soon composed himself and continued.
"They might just be stories. But they might be real, too. I want to know for sure. I want to know if there really was a man who became the Godslayer; if there was, then maybe we can find the same power he did."
He shook his head as he put the book back down.
"I know, it sounds ridiculous, right? I'm nineteen years old and I still believe in fairy tales. That's alright. I think it's worth a shot."
He then looked back up to Laeta, remembering what she said earlier.
"Hey...what did you mean by "nothing good can come of it," exactly? You don't think that freeing the world from an oppressive, genocidal tyrant is a good thing? Because that sounds pretty good to me."
His flat, deadpan tone did little to hide his sarcasm.

OOT: New character coming soon, possibly in the next post.

Mutton, as per usual, was tending to the sheep. It was not an unusual way of spending his time. He was allowed to tend the sheep, because tending the sheep was a task that, historically speaking, was not one that taxed the mind immensely.

He petted the lamb absentmindedly and looked up at the fields around him, the town in the distance. The world seemed so pretty when it was like this. Nothing stressful, nothing maddening, nothing really... chaotic. Everything seemed to be reasonable. He smiled to himself, and listening to the whistling of the wind, he whirled around in a circle, enjoying the way the earth spun around him under his feet as he turned faster and faster. Eventually, dizziness overcame him and he tumbled to the ground, laughing somewhat breathlessly as a lamb nuzzled his head in puzzlement as to what he was doing on the floor.

He got to his feet, sighing slightly at how whimsically the clouds rolled by.

“Are you sure that’s him, m’lord? He’s a bit... well... retarded, from the looks of it.”
    I am certain.
“And you want us to, what –just sit him down for a chat?”
I would not phrase it that way.
    “I’m not entirely sure he’s a – wait, what the –“
Do not interfere now. This may yet work to our advantage.

Mutton turned, somehow knowing she was there before she spoke.
A young maiden, dressed in a humble robe and hood but with a steely look in her eyes approached him.
    “Are you Mutton?”

    He nodded enthusiastically. “Uh-huh!”
She seemed slightly taken aback by his... happiness, but she recovered swiftly. “I am Wioki. It is important you come with me.”
Wioki’s appearance fascinated Mutton to no end – she was definitely not of this land. Her skin was a dark shade of brown, like chocolate, and her eyes too were of a deep heavy brown, the colour of burned wood. Even her voice, which sounded pretty normal, had a kind of exotic lilt to it.
She tensed, waiting for a barrage of questions.

    “Who will watch the sheep?”
That hadn’t been the first one she was expecting...
“I... will make arrangements. The flock will be protected. Now, please, you must –“
He was already bounding down the dirt path she’d come up by before she’d finished the sentence, and she stared round at him as he looked back at her with the expression of a dog about to be taken for walkies.
My father has completely miscalculated. But, I won’t be the one to tell him that.
Sighing to herself, she walked down the track and escorted Mutton towards the village on the other side of the forest.

    “You did not attend?”
Killesius grunted, his eyes on the world below. Lightning lashed down, burning scars into some poor man’s field of crops as rain pelted the forlorn scarecrow set to guard it.
“You know I have little love for politics, Thoneva. A more interesting question is why you did not attend.”

Thoneva tossed her sand-coloured long-flowing hair as she idly twirled a lock between her fingers. A dust-storm tore through a settlement of nomads, ripping their tents to shreds and causing the camels to buck their riders in alarm.
“You should know why I do not go. I cannot stand the idle prattle as much as you. It sickens me to the point of nausea.”
Killesius laughed. A sound rarer than the birth of the universe, in the opinion of some deities.
“No wonder I prefer your company. It’s nice to have someone around who is aware of their duties, rather than their status.”

    “Come on!”
“For the thousandth time, no. I cannot believe you made me miss the meeting for this!”
Gustante gave her the puppy-dog look, which a twelve-foot hulking behemoth with claws, spines, fangs, a stinger, wings, fur, scales and gills should not be able to pull off successfully.
“I promise, this time I will make it fun! I’ll give it my all and I’ll make it challenging!”
Surrelsa did not even look faintly interested, resting her head on her spare hand, the other lying outstretched across the giant obelisk between them. “I find that hard to believe.”
“Please? Pleaaaase?” The giant hybrid god hopped from toe to toe in anticipation. “Please? Pretty please?”
Surrelsa rolled her eyes and groaned. “FINE! But this is the last time.”
She propped her arm up on one elbow and instantly her entire upper arm was engulfed in Gustante’s mighty paw.
He grinned at her, showing a mouth littered with fanged teeth – and heaved, the obelisk quaking from the strain. Her arm twitched slightly, and she gave him a genuine smile. “That’s it, Gustante! Keep trying, like that.”
Gustante gave her a strained jolly grin as he put all of his immense weight behind his arm, shoving with tremendous effort. Her dainty arm bent ever so slightly back – and then she pushed, the obelisk shattering under the impact of her driving the enormous hand straight through the rock. Gustante was practically slammed to the ground, the impact making the surrounding trees shudder.
“I almost had it that time!” he proclaimed happily, bouncing to his feet.

The clearing around them was littered with the shards of countless obelisks, and despite herself Surrelsa found that she was smiling. Gustante gave her that goofy grin and she just couldn’t help herself. “Alright, you big lug. Can we go and attend the meeting now?”

Neji had been traveling for quite some time. So long that he had virtually forgotten how many days it had been since he left the doomed town behind. It had been days of following his vision. A gift and a curse from a being he could hardly imagine existed. He followed the vision dutifully and meticulously even to the point of waiting for the right time of day to look upon the certain landmark before continuing. He knew from experience that deviating from the vision could have disastrous effects upon him and the people around him. He knew better than to try to change the will of the gods.

His visions have been with him a long time. Since the day that he earned his right to wear his weapons, he had been receiving the visions. He thought them a gift at first. The visions allowed him to see things that he could avoid. Later he found that the visions were not his own. They never came when he wanted them to nor did they come at opportune times. It had become a curse. After years of living with the visions, and eventually allowing them to guide him, the visions had now become something that was a part of him. Despite the fact that he had no control over them.

Eventually, after following the vision's instructions on his travel rout, Neji stumbled upon the town he was looking for. If he had been capable of reading the language of these people, he would have seen that this town was called Greenforge. This was the place that he was meant to come to. To find the people in his vision. For what purpose, he didn't know yet. The visions have not returned since his last one in the doomed village. The time when he had seen the shadowy form of something of pure evil. He hoped for guidance soon.

Neji entered the town and began to walk down the streets. People seemed to give him odd stares. It was only natural. He didn't look like any of them, and his clothing would have certainly seemed outlandish. On top of that, the blades he wore at his waist would certainly make anyone seem uncomfortable. I don't even know where to start looking for these people. He thought to himself. All I know is where they appeared in this town. Not where they went. His eyes scanned the area until he found where the people had appeared in the town and went to the very spot where they had been in his vision.

Crouching down, he began to look at the ground. This place was not a well traveled area where they had appeared. The foot prints were there, but he couldn't discern where they had gone after they had appeared. Sighing with slight frustration, he made his way back into the town proper. Spying a building that appeared to be a store of sorts, he immediately made a b-line towards it. He might not be able to speak their language, but the language of money was fairly universal.

Opening the door, he heard the sound of a bell. The bell was likely an alarm of sorts to let the owners know that someone had entered the shop. Out of respect for the establishment, he placed his pack down next to the counter and began to brows the store's shelves. He was sure that someone would come out eventually.

Zillis had pointed at the bags he left by the door, though it seemed unlikely he already packed everything for everyone. "It's already been done. I went upstairs to make sure I grabbed everyone's stuff. Just go grab your weapons and prepare for a battle. I'm concerned.... This battle might not go our way..."

If you knew Zillis like Ella did he was almost never uncertain about anything especially when it came to battle. His face had concern drawn out all over it. Turning around he stepped back outside, and watched as this black cloud starting to move in closer. Off in the distance he could hear a faint buzzing noise. Only making him question what could be drawing closer.

Oswald started to hear the buzzing. To him it sounded like Locusts, Not an average wave of them either. He moved as fast as he could to Ella.

"I'm going to grab Zoe and head downstairs. I know you have a duty to protect us just be safe."

And so Oswald walked away and grabbed a hold of Zoe, he smiled as if nothing was wrong and treated her like they were going to play a game.
