Well, let me counter then: Did either of them risk their life and/or freedom to save the other?

 

Sent in my number but I missed a round. As for this round...I don't watch either anime so I'm not sure on this one. In fact I know next to nothing about these pairs. Motivation please?

Basically, the first half of anime is about one of them protecting the other. The second half, which happens after one of them dies, is about the survivor trying to atone for the death of his best friend. They also made a wow swearing to stand by each other no matter what. Did I mention that the one who died left a posthumous message telling the survivor to life and not give into suicide he was planning? Oh, and what about how he reincarnated into the cutest thing ever just to be with his blood brother he left behind?

While it's true that most of the contestants here have strong brotherly bonds, you gotta ask yourself, how many of those bonds are able to outlast death itself? Well, the bond those two had did.

Well, let me try and steal votes again.

Those two are actual brothers, despite different last names. The last names are different because their parents divorced. As fate would have it, they met several years later, and one tried to kill the other. Fortunately, due to outside interferences, they reconciled, and for the rest of the anime, they tried to help each other in little ways.

Addendum: I have nothing against the opposition this time around, and they're actually cute characters. But it just so happens they're facing my nominations, so I ain't buckling this time. That and I don't think actual brothers should lose to non-brothers no matter the circumstances.

That was because they would have utterly trounced all three of my nominations if they were allowed to pass. At least now, they might stand a chance.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of HxH's overrated reputation, but I like Frontier even lesser, in spite (or because) of being a Digimon fan. Kouji and Kouichi aren't really all that interesting compared to the likes of Yamato and Takeru, or even Taichi and Yamato.

I do admit to finding some scenes with these two are somewhat over the top but the reason why I nominated them and am going to vote for them is because they are brothers and bros. They are friends that mess around with one another and family.

I'm not going to post pictures since the series is better known and I'm sick.
