What Games Are You Currently Playing?

finally finished playing Child of Light yesterday and it was an ending i didnt expect. I am a sucker for happy endings or should i say endings that solves the main problem of a game. Id rate the it with a 9/10 overall.

 

Playing Corpse Party right now. It's a lot more disturbing than scary. Also, I like how it keeps me on edge to make sure I don't do any fuck ups. So far, I've only hit 2 bad endings, mainly because of stupidity rather than accidental

Also, I know it's just the menu music, but my god this track gives me chills

 

I am currently playing Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force.

 

Still playing FFXIV. It's an MMO, so I will probably continue playing for the foreseeable future.

I'm also working on Read Only Memories and I just started another play through of Warcraft 3.

 

Been playing Quake 3. Got into a Quake qick of sorts. About to try Quake GVR.

 

Wrapping up some of the backlog of games I have until September 6 when the greatest game of all time is about to be released in English in the states (That's Cold Steel II for you poor people who still haven't tried the Legend of Heroes series)

Aside from Fallout 3 I'm getting pretty close to finishing Valkyria Chronicles. I like it but it's starting to feel a bit repetitive down the home stretch of things. It's the same problem I have with all these types of games, Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, etc...
Has some pretty good moments though. Would consider trying it's sequel one day.

Also I've been playing Banjo Kazoie Nuts & Bolts. I honestly don't know why people rebelled against this game, I really like it and as far as "gameplay changes" this could have been far worse. Of course I'm used to the Kirby games getting changed around all the time so...

Aside from that, I was also messing around with some Japanese Yugioh game that's fan translated on the PSP (on an emulator). The cpu is just...lol. So bad!

 

I have started playing JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven and Attack on Titan on PS4. I plan to play God Eater 2 Rage Burst on PS4 when I finish God Eater Resurrection.
On PS3 I am currently playing Resonance of Fate and Tears to Tiara 2 Heir of the Overlord. I am thinking of getting The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel since it is on sale on PSN.

 

Best bang for your money right there. And that was before any sale, this is like robbery. Do it!

 

I decided to get The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel while it is on sale and so far I am really enjoying it but I haven't played much of it yet since I have some other games I want to finish up first. I actually planned on getting The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel when I finished the games I am currently playing on PS3.

 

Well lets see I have been playing runescape, world of warships, 60 seconds!, and welcome to the game. I might get back into fallout 4 sometime soon but who knows.

 

On topic of ship simulations (although that one is arcade like) I got back into Silent Hunter III again. Restarted the WWII campaign and decided to send my submarine in the middle of the English Channel at the start of the war.

I sunk 8 Merchant ships for 55 thousand tonnage.


Next patrol all my torpedoes except two were duds (Which missed completely in bad rain)


But I sank a fishing boat with my AA guns!
Is that a war crime...?

 

it would most likely be considered as collateral damage. look at it this way that fishing boat was providing food to the enemy. however don't be surprised if the enemy retaliates. Examples of war crimes include intentionally killing civilians or prisoners, torture, destroying civilian property, taking hostages, perfidy, rape, using child soldiers, pillaging, declaring that no quarter will be given, and using weapons that cause superfluous injury or unnecessary suffering. hope this helps.

 

You know, VR can really change your perspective on a game. Quake, though a 20 year game, is amazing in the GearVR headset.

Seriously screw those guys, the entire difficulty of the game revolved around them catching you unprepared in a narrow hallway or corner and you're not using the nail gun or you haven't mastered the strafe button yet.
Then there's those spider things that shoot homing missile things at you. To this day I can't figure out how to dodge them
And who could forget the most annoying of the enemies, those floating things that shoot green crap at you. You know how hard it is to hit those things with the shotgun!?

Try beating the game on hard with only the keyboard

Those fiends are the pinkish, fairly common enemies, right? I think I accidently chose the wrong difficulty, because now those fiends and shamblers are popping up more often then I remember. Those fiends are pains, but those shamblers... I hate 'em.
And yes, I've gotten plenty of fiends in the face. And grenades.
Fortuanetely, aiming with your head instead of a mouse makes it easier, yet somehow, it is still tricky to hit something. That is how FPS games were meant to be played, using a head, not an arm or thumb.
Those flying venom-spitting creatures (I assume to be an odd type of lizard or snake), they get both barrels.

 

Curse those leaping fiends! They were also the first video game enemy I ever encounter with the old "behind the door monster trap" trick. Open the door then...

Shamblers are those adorable white bear things right?

Hehe, after beating the old Quake game so many times I kind of remember where they spawn from by memory. Speaking of spawning how about those times when enemies just randomly teleport behind you and in front?
That's the worst! Never trust empty rooms with a switch in an old FPS game.
When in doubt keep the super nailgun stocked and loaded because aside from the lightning gun which is nearly impossible to find ammo for, the super nailgun is the second best way to bring down a surprise encounter.

Here's another one which might be creepy with the VR, in the later episodes there's the exploding...slime blob things. I remember them making these weird slimy noises. Sort of like those fishes that try to eat you underwater. It's a special kind of evil when game developers puts underwater monsters in their video game.

Always did like this game's setting and atmosphere.

 

So I've been trying to play some games that have been popular on tumblr. Currently playing ToL (on and off), KHUX (at least long enough each day to get free items), and Mystic Messanger (a Korean otome game) on my phone.

I'm playing Project Diva X on my PSVita (already beaten the main story I'm now only playing because I like certain songs).

I'm going back to my Fire Emblen:if on the 3ds since I just bought my brother a copy for his birthday.

Finally Completed Kingdom of Amalur:The Reckoning I was surprisingly pleased with this game was fun story was good bit long but good!! great game for the 5 Dollars I paid for it...

On to Witcher 2

 

Tried Dragon Quest Builders (Demo) on PS Vita a few days back. Now I've got both the PS4 and PS Vita "Day One" versions. It's way better than Minecraft, that's for sure. I'd definitely recommend it if you like Dragon Quest (aka Dragon Warrior) and/or Minecraft.

I'll be spending a lot more time on my Vita, especially while I'm waiting for the Final Fantasy XV PS4 edition to be released in November. I am definitely going to be broke for a couple of months, but at least I'll finally have a PS4 and a few games to go with it. lol
