@shifter101 Even knowing just the basics is fine and practice and personal projects are a great way to get experience in any programming language. The programming languages I know are JavaScript, Python, PHP, C and Java. I also know HTML and CSS but these two are markup languages not programming languages. I had classes in college working with these languages even though I had really good grades I don't have much confidence in my programming skills.

@Whitefang19 I'll be starting college in September, the thing is my program requires me to study for two semesters and work in the third. Programming wasn't really taught or encouraged at my school. Hence, I'm trying to get some programming knowledge from before hand, since I don't have any previous technical work experience, I'm trying to make up for that by doing projects and learning how to use GitHub. So far I haven't made much progress because of my school exams. Need to start coming up with ideas for projects.

@Negi-Springfield Well, I spoke to someone who's currently studying in the university I'm going to. They'll be teaching C/C++ in university and I'll need python, ruby and node under my belt. Don't know anything about node yet.

Uhm...completed my pokedex, true if you count using an action replay card. When I was 13 or something me and my cousin were hyped about Pokemon so he spent the night at my place and action replayed all the Pokemon in Sinnoh, he took it a step further than me and completed the national dex as well.
(An action replay is like a card that lets you cheat in the game, so you can choose which pokemon will show up and unlimited master balls beats the purpose of the game though)
