Who Is Your Favorite Final Fantasy Character?

God I don't know. Cid from Final Fantasy 7 I guess?

 

Cid in FF7 is quite awesome cursing and all!

Its still Cecil for me! Dark knight who becomes a Paladin only to ride on a Lunar whale to the moon I mean Common how can you beat that!?

I mean sure Cid built a rocket ship but it definitely was not in the shape of a whale so right there it loses all credibility!!!

 

My favorite hands down Tonberry. Who doesn't just want to reach out and give one of them Tonberry a big old hug!
Oh right because their doink one shots you into oblivion. I can still remember watching my uncle play and encountering this foe for the first time. How we both underestimated the power of Tonberry.

Now in all seriousness my favorite character from the series has to be Ramza from Final Fantasy Tactics. It was one of my favorite titles from the series and still remains that way to this day. What I loved so much about it was for me it was the first time i'd been given a choice that I would make for the character. And even though the choices didn't cause a significant impact in the game they still did impact it. Also Ramza's sense of justice, pride, and learning of moral lessons just causes him to stand apart from the other characters for me. ​

 

I can understand Squall, but Vaan for me personally was not even the most interesting character in FF12.... Basch, Balthier and Ashe to me where the main protagonist of that story and Vaan, Penello and Fran where just there for the ride.

My favorite?
I haven't played all of them, of course. Final Fantasy Dissidia did give a sample of a lot of characters, though. So my judgement is based off of that, since I have only played 7 and part of 8.

Favorite male MC: Cloud, Final Fantasy VII (first one I knew since I was a kid, so he's familiar, not to mention that giant, simple sword)
Favorite female MC: Lightning, Final Fantasy XIII (a friend of mine seems to consider her his favorite. I like her attitude, and that multipurpose sword is neat)
Favorite female character: Aerith/Aeris, Final Fantasy VII (Would have really liked to meet)

Honorable mention:
-Squall, reminds me of Cloud in the anti-social way- FF8
-Laguna, has outstanding sense of direction and know the best shortcuts- FF8
-Sephiroth, has an amazing sword, but I hold a special hatred for him- FF7
-Hero of Light- FF1, Dissidia (Feelslike he would be the definitive good guy, though I know little of him from FF1)
-Cid from FF8, not FF7 (That's a joke, but that name keeps popping up in Final Fantasy games for some reason.)
-Actually cannot truly think of any that I would really dislike, aside from what Sephiroth did

Actually, I didn't get to see that part. If that was supposed to be in the final parts of the game, then I missed that, since when I played it the game was corrupted towards the end. I was more referring to

When they were escaping the giant city, the video that includes Cloud getting hold of a motorcycle. Noticed a slight bounce one she stopped running

Still, that picture is too much. Thought I heard recently that a Final Fantasy game had to be delayed a little bit so they could tone down the sexy for one of the females.

 

I think it was the whole black materia Sephi part which is the mid point of the game. Or maybe it was the ending. Either way it's ridiculous

and I think that's the end cinematic trust me I would know I replayed that ending quite a few times with beer in one hand and my .... errr Never mind....
