Important JustAnimeNetwork

We are now JustAnimeNetwork. So what exactly does this mean?

First off, this is not another rebranding or name change so don't worry.

We are expanding our community and the sites we hold within the community. JAN will act as our hub / parent company with each site falling under it as a subsidiary. Think of it like this: the grocery parent Kroger owns and manages it's child/subsidiary companies Smiths, Food4Less and Ralphs. Each subsidiary company is managed through it's parent including operations, profits etc. Nothing about our community will change at face value other than new sites opening. These changes are to move towards more ofa business approach to properly manage our site expansions. Here are the sites that are opening this month.

JustAnimeNetwork and JustAnimeReviews will open at the end of the month. JAN will be our hub site which links back to our child sites and gives a complete rundown of the news and announcements of each of them. Each site will share the same forum so the community can be interlinked with one another. You will see big changes in the way the forum index is displayed as we expand to accommodate these changes.

Each site will be ran with its own staff members. Those who are already staff on JD. We will also be adding on more sites in the future so stay tuned for those.

JAN: Parent company. Manages operations, revenue, development. Hub which interlinks our child sites and provides news and announcements for each.

JAF: Centralized forum for JAN and it's sites. Provides a place for each child site to communicate and a means for our sites to be shared and interlinked.

JD: Dubbed anime

JR: Anime reviews

We will open 4 more sites in the near future, stay tuned.

Maybe the site awards part can be considered next year. Although it's hard to think of how we could possibly expand it any further.

As for doing subs there is one thing that we want to do in order to make that possible. We need to have a way to crawl other websites and leech those videos. Manually gathering videos or uploading our own for a sub site is out of the question as we lack the man power for something like that.

 

Sadly none of us know how to do it. That is the only thing stopping us from opening a subbed, manga and possibly a hentai site.
