This is one example that I found .hack//legend of the twilight. There are many others. I am on my cell phone rite now so I can't take screen shots sorry

 

Those pages, for the download button, are using relative links. This is something our content managers will have to comb through. In the mean time, you can use the forum's download selection, since it's the same spot the links would take you.

My reaction when I accessed Justdubs from a shortcut after the domain change and found the 404 error:

Glad it was just a domain change, since I would have really missed all of you if the site was gone for good!

My exact reaction to. It came up with error when I tried to bring it up as well. I had heart failure... (Ok, maybe not literally.) I thought I lost contact with all you people

What links were you two using you ended up with an error rather than being redirected to the appropriate site? I'm trying to make sure anyone that has old links/bookmarks can easily find us. Though I had it all sorted out, but I want to be sure.

 

They were links from my outdated tablet on the "new tab", using the default internet browser. Only thing it came from.
Chrome is not showing signs of error. But then, maybe I had them all reset or corrected somehow. Typing in justdubs got me close enough to this manually anyway. So it would not have been hard to find my way back. That 404 error just gave me a real scare.

 

I'm just curious is all since, theoretically, any old JDO URL should go to either JD's new domain or the forums is it was a forum URL. Maybe it's your tablet's browser doesn't support the redirect method I used. I'll have to think on this.

 

It redirects now but I think it was a the time when it was in the process of being moved.

 

Man I stop visiting the forum for a week of two because I'm busy and not much is happening anyway. I come back and everything is green and stuff.

I remember a lot time ago we users objected to the idea of expanding the site as keeping up with dubs was hard enough and with this being the only site to reliably find dubs back then that was more important.

But times have changed and pretty much everything you can find here is on other sites as well and those have subs as well. So while JD still offers a great place to find dubbed anime that is no longer such a special thing. So as a veteran user I agree it's time to seriously think of expanding.

Although with so much subbed anime out there getting a decent library of that is going to be a tall order unless we just find another site willing to work with us and merge with them or something like that.

Which might not be a bad idea especially is we want to expand into manga since I'm not sure if anyone has experience with that kind of thing.

BTW speaking of manga if we do expand to manga at some point I suggest doing something similar to Kissmanga and putting the chapters on one page instead of making people click from page to page. I hate that.
