    yeah I can never seem to get into sports anime. I've tried but I just lose interest.

    Also I'm not sure about Musaigen no Phantom World. That looks like one of those series that could either be okay or soul crushingly mediocre. It might be worth checking out but I don't know about putting that as an official club watch.

    lastly I would just like to remind you of my dislike of horror. So choosing that as a topic might work out for everyone else but would exclude at least me. Which is fine I'm not saying you should cater to me. I'm just saying if we want to make sure we choose things everyone can at least get into that won't work for me.

    Honestly I'm surprised such a simple question got so many responses, especially after such a drawn out period of inactivity. Guess the "official" activity will continue on then. But first some responses
    You're lame.

    I find this unusual, you're a big shounen fan and most sports anime are just shounen fun minus the battles to the on occasion death. I never thought I'd be interested in sports anime, but then gave Kuroko a chance and things changed. Hell it made me want to start playing basketball which is unusual in itself considering I hate almost all sport. Now I watch almost every one that is announced [but the female wrestling] and I'm making my way through the older ones. Out of curiosity Which have you tried and what didn't you like about them?

    Also @Vladnyx I noticed that despite being active and having the club badge you've still not clicked the join button for the club. Not really a requirement but just something I noticed.

    Now about our activity, 5 series have already been nominated even without me saying anything. I took the first option each member mentioned as their nominee, if multiple were mentioned the latter were ignored unless nominated by someone else.
    Voting will be done in this thread and will be held for the next 2 days because why not? Also since none of the options nominated begin in the next 2 days it works, yay for half arsing it working. Voting will be the same as always, vote for 2 series and tally your votes. I'll tag everyone but I can't exactly be bothered linking pics/info/PVs. I haven't even gone looking for them for myself yet so meh to doing it right this very second for others. Man after tagging every member of the club I now remember why I had low hopes for the survival, less than half of these members have posted in here in the last 6 months.

    I think the problem is that while I like Shonen the sports themselves tend to not interest me. I can't think of all of them but Prince of Tennis and Baby steps come to mind (both tenis anime for some reason but I know I've seen others). Again it's not that I outright hated them it's just I tend to lose interest. It's probably partly due to my lack of interest in the sports themselves as well as the fact the training arcs are basically just practice.

    So even though the existence of training arcs and such are shonen like it's the theme that tends to not grab me.

    Disappointed with the nominations that were chosen. Probably gonna forget this forum again since Assassination Classroom for me is pure entertainment anime and I have nothing to say about nor care enough to talk about it.     You know if nothing else you could discuss what you want in the main threat or make your own unofficial discussion. But you should at least try to participate in one of the main ones if possible.

    It's not my primary anime forum so talking about something I'm not interested in few places is kinda waste of time, especially when I've got nothing to say about it. Not that it matters tho :D many seasons passed without me over here and it's still running just fine.

    Dagashi looks lame and awks.
    Dim w looks at least half decent.
    Phantom world looks lame and gross and like KyoAni can't do anything other than moeshit anyamore.
    Grimgar looks boring and gross.
    Assassins is great and all (been watching it, nearly finished, and LOVING it!), but, as whoever said, it doesn't seem like something that could be easily discussed, other than "that was funny."

    To anyone who has been saying Ansatsu Kyoushtsu doesn't look like an anime that can be discussed. I believe the evidence says otherwise, S1 of that awesome anime netted us quite a few responses and discussion, I expect S2 to do the same if not more. Speaking of which, S2 is now airing! ^-^
