Appearing On JAN Cast

If you would like to appear on the podcast, post about it here.

There are a few guidelines, please take the time to read over them. ^-^

You will need:

1) A quiet, secluded environment in which you will not be interrupted.

2) Half an hour to dedicate to a pre-recording meeting which will take place a week prior to actually recording.

3) Forty-five minutes to an hour to dedicate to recording the podcast.

4) A microphone (obviously) and earbuds or headphones. (A headset will work fine.)

5) Skype. If you don't have Skype, you can download it here: http://www.skype.com/en/

6) Audacity. Audacity is a free audio recording and editing program. If you don't have Audacity, you can download it here: http://audacityteam.org/

7) Preferably, be available to record at least one week prior to the publishing date (second Saturday of the month). This just allows for time to edit the podcast.

If you're interested, post below. Please include times and days that you are usually available (include time zone, please) as well as whether you are interested in appearing once or if you are interested in repeat appearances (feel free to change this, at any time).

I'll have 2-3 guests per episode, and will be picking, first, from those who post here.

I may not "book" guests in the order that they post, so, in other words, being the first to post doesn't make you first in line. Instead, I'll likely group guests together based on their availability, in order to ensure that recording dates remain as convenient as possible for those involved.

Ah. There aren't any permanent cast members, aside from myself (and a co-host, if I choose one). I'd like as many people as possible, who want to participate, to be able to participate. So, I'm going to rotate the guests with each episode.

That said, of course people are welcome to appear on more than one episode. Like I said above, I'll be pairing up guests for each episode based on their availability (and time zone). So, one episode may have the cast as the last, or a completely different cast, or some new some old.

If you want to appear on the podcast, just read my post above. Make sure that the guideline suit you, and then post again with what days and times (including time zones) that you would, generally, be available. This will help to give me an idea of who to "book" for each episode.

@BaconMan8910 I'm willing to do it, but I can only do so if @Dungeon Master is going to be on when I am due to having to use his internet to even do it (don't have internet at all unless I'm using the libraries).

 

Hey guys, I listened to your first episode and it sounds like a lot of fun, so I'd definitely like to get in on this. Especially if Heizen wants to do it. Together, we will rule this podcast! My schedule is pretty flexible most of the time so let me know whenever you're recording and we'll go from there. I'm on the east coast of the United States (UTC-05:00) just like Heizen, and I'm all for doing repeat appearances if the first one goes well.

Just one thing though, I'm not really sure how October is going to work right now. I'm not sure when, but I'm going on vacation with family for a week and I can't see myself recording from...wherever we're going to be, we're probably gonna move around a lot.

 

I wouldn't mind being a part of the cast, but I feel like I don't know much about a wide variety of the anime out there.

I won't be talking as much or even at all because of what I lack. So I guess I'm better off just watching it.

I'd be up for being on it. Wanted to do it back on JD, but stuff happens. Problem now is I don't have a consistent schedule and only see two weeks at a time, unless I request it off
