    I love creepy mythical creatures and stories. While the anime is not scary you can see how many extras scream and run when " the black rider's" helmet falls off. Plus she can make a scythe out of the shadows while holding you still with another shadow.

    I havent seen either show (again), but Holo doesn't seem very spooky to me, based on pictures and the small stories i've heard/read. Sunako Kirishiki on the other hand manages to (slightly) creep me out just with her pictures.

    You mean the useless true form that didn't even shed a single drop of enemy blood? She had a large size that wasn't even enough to scare off other wolves. Doesn't seem frightening to me esp since we almost never saw that form.

    i wouldnt go as far as calling her true form useless. no spilling of blood is needed from a wise wolf's perspective. why bother engaging in physical battle when you can complete it with wits and tactics. the other wolves are just ignorant and full of themselves not knowing who they are dealing with. just like kids these days. no respect and people older to them if you compare those wolves to them. yeah sad to say we dont get much of her beast mode since its heavily bombarded with romance. considering the time period, wolves the devils for a traveler. so that came up as a factor for me nominating her.
