    Yeah it is unlike me, or at least the me of the past that had nothing to do every day. Now I'm busier and haven't responded to a lot of things that I otherwise would have.

    Pretty much my thoughts on this season, I have a count of 10 I plan on picking up but I honestly have low hopes for a few of those.

    I'll allow Lupin because it is that kind of franchise BK, and with this post time to nominate is up even without getting the usual 6 nominations.

    I can't tell anything that even looks the slightest hint of good this season... A whole bunch of mecha, and stuff that doesn't look at all interesting, and then season two of Noragami...
    Someone tell me the hype of One Punch Man?...

    well, Ima need time to think on which anime will get my 2nd vote but, this is problematic, Funi is going to stream Heavy Object, this means there's a high chance of it getting a dub, maybe, even while the sub is streaming, same with Valkyrie Drive Mermaid which I know isn't in the nom'd anime but I did mention it before and wanted to add it to this. Lupin III might see a dub, unlikely but there's a chance, esp since I think Funi is also involved in it? Either way, I know it's part 4 and thus a sequel, and how this works ya don't need to see the other parts buut, I did say I was going to see the rest of part 2 and see all of part 3 before seeing part 4, though I might change my mind, I dunno. As for the other 2, not sure I care to watch them, will need to look into it and the one I will be voting for later is my own nom but going to wait till I've decided on my 2nd vote.

    Well Heavy Object was written by the same guy who did Index and Railgun. Even if those series weren't your thing it's still a fact this guy knows how to write well enough to make some popular series. So at the very least it should at least be worth watching and maybe it will even be really good.

    One Punch Man has kind of a unique humor to it that is either hit or miss but overall it's actually an interesting series. It's plot is certainly not deep or complex but it doesn't try to be. It just takes it's premise and setting and roll with them.

    I don't know about the others so I can't say much about them except Lupin is a classic so how bad could it be? I don't know much about it though.

    Well, I didn't think any of the trailers would impress me but, for all that's been detailed about them and from what I've seen, I'm going to vote for CR & CL. I rEELly wanted to vote for Heavy Object though, but, as I stated, it will prolly get a dub and I'd rather watch the dub, esp since it's from the guy who did Index/Railgun. Anyway, CR's trailer impressed me, guess I'll have another anime to watch this fall which is funny since, last summer (this year) peeps were saying the stuff on it was great, but not for me, barely anything, where as in Spring/Fall of this year peeps be sayin there ain't much and it sucks, but for me, there's plenty.

    @kaylentine That's because if they gave him the eye shadow then he'd be even MORE like a knock off char and thus risk the company getting sued for copyright. lol

    @Mafiacow I have no earthly idea myself why there's hype for that anime, well, I can think of only one thing and that's, fights and blowing shit up. (I'm basing this on the trailer above btw) I myself won't be watching OPM however, I WILL be watching the other 4 anime at some point in my life, Lupin 3rd pt 4 prolly being the last one due to it being pt 4. lol

    @BK-201 thanks for posting trailers for me, I couldn't really be bothered at the time but I'm glad you're still here to help even without having to ask.

    Anyway that concludes the 24 hours, if people didn't vote it is too late now so I hope you can make your peace. The winners are One Punch Man and Lupin III (2015), I'll make their discussion threads sometime tomorrow and I expect Lupin to have begun its Japanese release today, but I know that 4 eps are up subbed already and One Punch Man will begin sometime on the 6th.

    *starts bitching about what won* Jk, nah, but in all seriousness, I am sad that I won't be able to join ya'll in this season's discussion threads for those anime, I would for Lupin if not for the fact I'm still watching S2 (part 2) and need to finish it and S3 up first. Hopefully I can occasionally join in the gen discus thread but, prolly not much or that often, depends on the posts.

    I was originally like that too, I wanted to finish all of Lupin before starting 2015's one but screw it. It is that kind of franchise that as long as you know the characters I don't think it matters too much. I haven't started Part 2 yet so I'm a ways off completing it....
    By the way, apart from you don't want to watch it, what is wrong with One Punch Man? I'm just curious.

    As for the question, there is no rule against. There is just a whole forum out there and people usually use that to post threads in a more specific section instead of a small club. I wouldn't be against it either way really. As long as some of us have fun discussing new releases anything pretty much goes for us of this club doesn't it?


    By the way, can't be bothered making discussion threads now so I'm going to do it after I wake up.
