Earlier anime characters to appear in Arc-V's 3rd year, which starts in April
[IMG]The official Twitter account for the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime franchiseannounced on Monday that the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal character Kite (Kaito) and the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX characters Aster Phoenix (Ed Phoenix) and Alexis Rhodes (Asuka Tenjōin) will appear in the current anime, Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V. The account did not state specifically when these three characters will appear, but their appearances will be in the third year of Arc-V, which starts this April.

The third year of Arc-V will also feature the new opening theme song "Kibō no Hikari" (Light of Hope) by Ryō Kitamura,Shuuto Miyazaki, and Ryō Matsuda, as well as the new ending theme song "Vision" by Kūsō Iinkai.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V anime, the newest Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series inspired by Kazuki Takahashi's original manga, premiered in Japan in April 2014. The series premiered in Canada last August and is slated to debut in Australia at a later date.

The series is premiering in the United States on the Nicktoons channel this month.

Viz Media began publishing Naohito Miyoshi's Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V manga series last August in its digital English edition of Shonen Jump. The manga debuted in Japan last August in Shueisha's V Jump magazine.

The story is set in Maiami City on the coast of Japan. Yūya is a second-year middle school student who loves to entertain people. Although he is small, he has been training his tough body and Action Duelist arms with weapons. His dream is to become an "Entertainment Duelist" who makes people smile. One day, Yūya ends up fighting an exhibition match with the current champion of the Pro Duel world.
