NIS America began streaming a new English trailer for its upcoming release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA on Tuesday. The video highlights the main character Adol Christin, and showcases the English voice acting of some of the characters.

NIS America previously streamed a trailer for the game featuring Dana, and then a second trailer featuring Laxia, Sahad, Hummel, and Ricotta.

The game is slated for physical and digital release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, as well as PC via Steam, on September 12 in North America and September 15 in Europe. The release will have full English audio, as well as the original Japanese audio. The game will have English and French text.

    NISA describes the story:

Ys returns with a brand new adventure for the first time in 8 years! Adol awakens shipwrecked and stranded on a cursed island. There, he and the other shipwrecked passengers he rescues form a village to challenge fearsome beasts and mysterious ruins on the isolated island. Amidst this, Adol begins to dream of a mysterious blue-haired maiden living in an unknown world. Join Adol as he unravels the riddle of the cursed isle and the blue-haired maiden Dana in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana!

Nihon Falcom released the game in Japan on May 25.
