The wraparound jacket band on the eighth compiled book volume of Yūki Tabata's Black Clover manga revealed on Tuesday that anime studio XEBEC will animate the event anime adaptation of the manga for the Jump Special Festa Anime screening event.

The Jump Special Anime Festa event will be held in five cities on November 27 and December 4. The event will also feature a "new work video" for Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, as well as an original event anime episode of My Hero Academia. The event will also feature an anime for Twin Star Exorcists, although the website hasn't specified if the anime will be new. Additionally, Jump Special Anime Festa will screen the entirety of the Isobe Isobee Monogatari ~Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo~ "mame anime" and will also feature a "special video" for the franchise. "Mame anime" (bean anime) or "manime" for short is a short anime of approximately 30 seconds in length. The event will also feature an anime for Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto's Boruto manga, and will screen a promotional video for the Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu: 365-Nichi no Jikan anime film.

This year's Jump Special Anime Festa event will first take place in Tokyo's Yomiuri Hall on November 27, and then in Sapporo's Sapporo Cinema Frontier, Nagoya's TOHO Cinemas Nagoya Bay City, Osaka's TOHO Cinemas Umeda Main Building and Nanba Main Building, and Fukuoka's TOHO Cinemas Tenjin Main Building on December 4.

Viz Media publishes Black Clover in North America.
