    I've been having trouble deciding.
My favorite type of anime is ecchi but I've run out of options in that category so which of these do you think I would most enjoy?
Most of these anime I have put on hold for not liking an aspect of each of them but now I'm running out of other options so...
Which of these anime should I download and watch first?:

    /darker than black
    /chobits
    /k on
    /special a
    /tengen toppa gurren lagann
    /fate/ (series)
    /gintama (series)
    /hayate the combat butler (series)

    These are the old anime suggestions I have watched: the devil is a part timer /prison school /monthly girl /ben-to /ultimate otaku teacher /Love, Chunibyo and other delusions /tenjou tenge /needless /spice and wolf, 2 /Akame ga Kill! /kokoro connect /Tasogare Otome X Amnesia /Hitsugi no Chaika /sword art online, 2 /elfen lied /Outbreak Company /baccano /seven deadly sins /a lull in the sea/noragami /log horizon /handa kun /magical warfare /hamatora the animation /Dog & Scissors /my bride is a mermaid /assassination classroom 1st, 2nd season /kamisama no memochou /blue exorcist /another /fairy tale /my love story /attack on titan /keijo /kill la kill /maid sama /dears /kamisama dol

    Thank you for your help.

If there are anime newly dubbed anime that you think I should put on the list let me know.

Interesting choices there, although you said ecchi but didn't watch all of Prison School? That was one of the more recent ecchi anime that I genuinely liked. As a recommendation I'd go with that one first.
Needless was also fun but it is mostly action with the fan service generally coming from loli characters.
Shokugeki no Souma was also a nice anime, over the top shounen vibes with ecchi. I hate calling it the english name.

If this is referring to Love Comedy [I've never seen it called Oregairu], then it's not an ecchi series. It's still really good, but it's not ecchi.

Agreed as @Supernatural-Knight has advised and I can concur; not all of your list is ecchi... But if I were to recommend anything from your list I would go with "Tenjou Tenge"...that was one of my very first anime I ever watched and that should kick start things for you... But as per JDs comprehensive list there are far more delectable ecchi you can get your hands on http://justdubs.org/Ecchi

Also my own personal opinion and suggestion... If you don't want to muck around... Then look for Freezing both seasons (as well the OVAs) and both Sekerei seasons as well as the OVA too... Can't go wrong!

thanks for the suggestions, if this were a question in a test paper you would have gotten it right as I actually chose to watch it yesterday. the reason why i delayed it was because i thought it would have been dirtier than it actually was but in all honesty like you I enjoyed it the humor got though, the plot wasn't predictable and the art had a uniqueness to it.
I'll make sure to check your other suggestions. Thanks again

that's fine if its good I'll watch it thank you.

Thank you I'll watch tenjou tenge. as for freezing and sekerei i watched them a long time ago but your right to recommend them, thank you.

Why number 2? are you kidding or does it not rely on the first season?

    I'm kidding.

The anime was good, but it was very meh compared to the novels.

    It's not ecchi.

As SK said, Food Wars is pretty good and is ecchi, I think you might like it.

Edit: the second season of SnS is still currently airing, so if you like currently airing anime, you're in luck.

I edited my previous post, you replied too fast lol.

But yeah SnS1 is ~24 episodes and SnS2 is ~13, so you have a enough to get a good idea of the series. And you can read the manga while waiting for season 3.

I would suggest Elfen Lied, there will be a point where the backstories may get boring, but it is well worth it to sit through. Over all it is a dark anime though.

My only complaint is that there isn't a second season. Though I don't know how much further the manga goes than the anime.

Akame Ga Kill would be one I'd suggest. I liked that anime, even though when I first heard about it, I didn't think I would.

    Have you seen Monster Musume?

From your list I would recommend The Devil is a Part Timer or Elfen Lied. Those two are kind of on the opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of genre, but I've enjoyed both, thoroughly. The Devil is a Part Timer is absolutely hilarious.

    Ew.

As a Horror fanatic lover I would go for Elfen Lied

Akame ga Kill is great as well but can be viewed as a little twisted.

But the Devil is a Part Timer is hilarious...as long as you don't have a strong hold for religious views (I don't mean to offend anybody who is!)
