Viz Media added Ranmaru Kotone's manga adaptation of Mamoru Hosoda's The Girl Who Leapt Through Time anime film. The one-volume The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Toki o Kakeru Shōjo: Tokikake) manga is currently available digitally for US$4.99 for iOS, Kindle, and Android devices.

    Viz Media describes the story:

Makoto Konno is in junior high school. She is good friends with her childhood friend Kousuke Tsuda and transfer student Chiaki Mamiya. They "pretend play" baseball after school every day, but their relationship starts to change drastically when Makoto acquires the ability to leap through time.

Hosoda and Madhouse Studios' award-winning film opened in Japan in 2006. Bandai Entertainment released the film on Blu-ray and DVD in North America before closing its North American distribution in 2012.

The film is in turn based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's 1967 original novel. The book has been adapted into multiple live-action works.

Bandai Books previously released the manga in print in 2009.
