Viz Media announced at its Anime Expo panel on Friday that it has licensed the Dragon Ball Super, The Water Dragon's Bride, and Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt manga.

Viz also announced that it plans to release the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V manga in print, and the company will release the Rurouni Kenshin manga three-in-one omnibus editions. Viz Media also revealed it will release a Revolutionary Girl Utena manga deluxe box set. The print editions of Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V and the Utena box set will launch in spring 2017, and the first Rurouni Kenshin omnibus volume is slated for winter 2017.

Viz Media published the first few chapters of Dragon Ball Super online last week, and plans to publish the series in print from its Shonen Jump imprint beginning in spring 2017.

Toyotarō launched the manga adaptation of the ongoing Dragon Ball Super anime series in Shueisha's V Jump magazine last June. The plot is set shortly after the decisive battle with Boo, and begins with a retelling of the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods movie. Ordered by Chi-chi to earn money, Goku works even as he wants to train even more. Meanwhile, Goten, about to become a brother-in-law to Videl, sets out on a journey with Trunks to find her a present.

Viz will begin releasing Rei Tōma's The Water Dragon's Bride (Suijin no Hanayome) manga in spring 2017 from its Shojo Beat imprint. Tōma launched the manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Cheese! magazine in February 2015, and Shogakukan published the third compiled volume in April.

Viz Media describes the series as follows:
In the blink of an eye, a modern-day girl named Asahi is whisked away from her warm and happy home and stranded in a strange and mysterious world where she is sacrificed to a water dragon god! What plans are in store for her, and what will happen when she comes face to face with this god?

Tōma's Dawn of the Arcana series ended its run in Cheese! in 2013. Viz Media licensed the series and published the 13th and final volume in North America in 2014.

Viz will begin releasing Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt this fall from its Viz Signature imprint.

    Viz describes the story:
An epic story of war and survival set in the legendary Gundam universe! In the Universal Century year 0079, humanity is divided between Earth and huge space colonies known as Sides. The colony known as Side 3 proclaims independence as the Principality of Zeon, and declares war on the Earth Federation. As the conflict nears the one-year mark, the Earth Federation and the forces of Zeon are locked in a fierce battle for the Thunderbolt Sector, an area of space scarred by the wreckage of destroyed colonies

Yasuo Ohtagaki launched the manga in Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine in March 2012, and Shogakukan published the eighth compiled book volume on June 24.

The manga inspired the Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt net anime and the Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt: December Sky director's cut film edition. Right Stuf will release an import edition of the film with both English and Japanese audio on July 2.
