[IMG]North American publisher Vertical Comics announced at its panel at Otakon on Friday that it has licensed Riichi Ueshiba'sMysterious Girlfriend X (Nazo no Kanojo X), Kaori Ozaki's The Gods Lie (Kami-sama ga Uso o Tsuku.), and Ryo Hanada'sDevil's Line manga. All three will debut in Spring 2016.Mysterious Girlfriend X will be in omnibus volumes.

Mysterious Girlfriend X revolves around Akira Tsubaki, who one day notices the anti-social transfer student Mikoto Urabe drooling on her desk while she is sleeping, and he tastes it. Eventually the two begin to date and get to know each other better.

Ueshiba began the manga in the magazine in 2006 and endedthe series in and Kodansha shipped the 11th compiled volume of the series in February. The manga inspired a television anime adaptation in 2012. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed and released the series in North America. Crunchyroll distributes the manga in English digitally.

[IMG]The Gods Lie centers on Natsuru, an 11-year-old new transfer student whom every girl in his class was interested in because of his good looks. After he turns down the chocolates given to him on Valentine's Day, he is ignored by his female classmates. One day his tall female classmate Rio Suzumura speaks to him. After a series of events, Natsuru learns Rio's secret that she cannot tell anyone. The manga tells the story of the summer the two spend together.

Ozaki serialized the manga in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine, and Kodansha published the one compiled volume in September 2013.

Tokyopop published eight volumes of Ozaki's 11-volumeImmortal Rain manga in 2004-2007 before the company shut down its publishing division in North America in 2011.

[IMG]Hanada debuted the dark fantasy manga Devil's Line in Kodansha's Morning Twomagazine in March 2013, and Kodansha shipped the fifth compiled volume in June.
