Triggers and how to use them:
You can use the feature by using the ! at the beginning to trigger an event.
    Example: !help
*Note: When using a trigger, try to avoid formatting the trigger. Triggers will not work correctly as the text before the trigger starts is BBCode, even if you use rich text formatting and do not see the BBCode itself.
To get help on specific triggers, use !help triggername
    **Important**
Ensure that when you use an exclamation mark, that it does NOT get placed at the beginning of a new line. This will cause an accidental trigger, initially discovered by @sayWut.

That's great, but how do I roll dice for the RP Club?
Just like the above, you use ! but instead of "help" you can use "roll."
    Example commands -
    !roll d6
    !roll d20
    !roll 1d20 #Attack
    !roll 1d20+2 #Attack; 3d6 #Damage
    !roll 1d20 *4 #Spot

    Example results -
    d6: 2
    d20: 15
    Attack: 4
    Attack: 15; Damage: 10
    Spot 1: 16; Spot 2: 10; Spot 3: 16; Spot 4: 6

If you need more help with !roll use !help roll.
Important: If you're not sure what dice to roll, consult your RP's game master for directions on what dice you should be rolling. All rolls are posted by the forum automatically, immediately after your post. You may not edit your rolls. Rolls cannot be edited into an existing post either. All rolls are triggered by new posts, so don't forget to roll your die (or dice) when necessary!

    Are there any other triggers?
Yes! You can shuffle a list of items using !shuffle.
    Examples (directly from !help shuffle):
!shuffle :: Shuffle some items or shuffle and pick just a few.

To shuffle an entire list of items, use the following trigger format, with a comma-separated list of as many items as you want to include. In this example, you will get the same 5 items back out from the postbot but in a random order.

!shuffle Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten

If you only want to pick some of the items back out, use the following format. In this example, you will get only 3 of the 5 items back out from the postbot but in a random order. With this number, you have to pick at least one thing but you can't pick all of them: if you want to pick all of them, just omit the number as in the first example.

!shuffle 3 Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten

Can I use multiple triggers in a post?
No. The use of multiple triggers, especially if you format them, can provide an awkward output. If rolling multiple dice, use a semicolon ( ; ).

This post intentionally left here as an example of why multiple triggers and using formatting while using triggers is discouraged. - @Vashnik
