    Three homeless companions—a runaway girl, a transvestite, and an alcoholic—find an abandoned newborn on Christmas Eve while foraging through trash. Using clues found next to the baby, they fan out through Tokyo to find the parents, along the way confronting reminders of their own lives they have nearly abandoned.

    Was having computer problems this weekend so I didn't get to watch. I've heard some really great things about this movie so I've been anxious to finally watch.

    It's a really good film. I highly recommend it. It's not going to be the most amazing film ever, but it is certainly an enjoyable film. Great character development. Story is a bit silly. But, the film really explores what it means to be human.

    Definitely a touching film which shows how selfless people can be even when they don't have much of anything to give. it's a great film for the holiday season.
