Tokyo Ghoul:re Manga Has 'big Announcement' On June 14

This year's 27th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine revealed on Thursday that the next issue on June 14 will feature a "big announcement" for Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul:re manga. The manga will also adorn the magazine issue's cover, and the latest chapter will feature an opening color page.

Ishida serialized Tokyo Ghoul in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from 2011 to 2014, and is now serializing Tokyo Ghoul:re. The manga entered its final arc in February. Shueisha published the manga's 15th compiled volume on March 19, and will publish the 16th volume on July 19.

Viz Media is releasing the Tokyo Ghoul:re sequel series in English. Viz Media previously released all 14 volumes of the original Tokyo Ghoulmanga in English. The two manga series have a combined 35 million copies in print worldwide.

The Tokyo Ghoul:re TV anime adaptation premiered on April 3. Funimation is streaming the series in Japanese with English subtitles as it airs, and is also streaming an English dub.
