The Dirt: First Trailer For The Mötley Crüe Biopic
With Bohemian Rhapsody scoring awards despite concerns that it's a watered-down version of the story, along comes a musical biopic that promises to be closer to warts and all, with extra warts. The Dirt, which adapts the Mötley Crüe biography, has a first trailer online via Netflix.

With Jackass veteran Jeff Tremaine in the director's chair, the film follows the wild story of the band as it rose to the top of the '80s rock scene, a journey that took them from the streets of Hollywood to international fame, fuelled by drink, drugs, groupies and assorted bad behaviour.

Starring Douglas Booth, Machine Gun Kelly, Daniel Webber and Game Of Thrones' Iwan Rheon, we're promised a look at how the band got together, their heyday and the slow spiral into chaos. It has the backing of the group itself, which recorded four new songs for the film.

The Dirt arrives on Netflix on 22 March.
