A television anime adaptation of Haruto Hino's Takunomi. (Drinking at Home) four-panel manga has been green-lit. The anime will premiere on TBS in 2018. An official website for the anime also opened and began streaming a teaser video for the anime.

The comedy manga's story centers on Michiru Amazuki, a 20-year-old woman who moves to Tokyo for a new job. She moves into Stella House, a share house for women. Her housemates all have widely different jobs and ages, but as long as they have alcohol and delicious food, everything turns out fine.

Tomoki Kobayashi (Utawarerumono, Akame ga KILL!, Amagami SS+) is directing the anime at Production IMS. Katsuhiko Takayama (ef: a tale of memories, Ga-Rei: Zero, Sakurada Reset) is in charge of series composition. Shinpei Kobayashi (Castle Town Dandelion) is designing the characters. Takatoshi Hamano (Keijo!!!!!!!!, The Idolm@ster SideM) is the sound director at Magic Capsule. Masato Suzuki is composing the music, and Pony Canyon is producing the music.

Hino launched the manga in Shogakukan's MangaONE app in August 2015. Shogakukan published the manga's third compiled book volume last December and will ship the manga's fourth volume on Thursday.
