    So I saw this movie the other day and thought it was really great. I was surprise at all the references it made to the past movies and thought that was an excellent touch. I'm no big Trek fan but feel an unexplainable urge to go ahead and watch the past movies now lol. So what did you guys think?

    I was slightly irked by the way that it stole so many scenes from the wrath of khan. It did play with it though, and I did like that. I truthfully think that it was a good movie, but that it'll open plot holes in all future movies (by having people die when they could get a magical blood transfusion etc.).

    I thought it was OK. Nothing special. A lot of cliche Star Trek dialogue. And this is coming from someone who gets bored after 5 minutes of seeing any other series of Star Trek. (Though, I have seen reviews of the odd numbered films).

    Failed attempt at rewriting the movie with Khan. I didn't mind the first jumpstart movie very much but this one sucked.

    I enjoyed the crap out of this movie. I especially liked how they reversed the roles of Kirk and Spock in the end there.
