Donate to Our GoFundMe and See Staff do Embarrassing Things! A Portion of the Proceeds Will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

This is something we wanted to do for the community to enjoy. A nice way for our members to interact with and get to know staff. All while donating and giving to a charity.

The idea behind this is to have goals for specific amounts during this drive staged on gofundme. When a goal is reached a staff member will do the challenge that is already pre-selected from the challenge list. The staff member records themselves (or posts a picture) doing the challenge and then posts it for the entire community to enjoy. If we pass our $500 goal within 30 days we will take suggestions on new challenges and increase our goal amount. If you have any suggestions to add please feel free to do so now.

Donate the full amount before the end of the 30 day period and I will do @Risa0402 's challenge of taking a picture in a dress. This is for a good cause after all so let's make it interesting!

Our first goal has been reached!

    $50 - Fact or Fiction
Tell an embarrassing story of his/her past

    $100 - Sharpie Attack
Have a staff member write your name on their body in permanent marker.

    $150 - Pigging Out
Eat a large pizza in under 15 minutes

    $200 - Me so Thirsty
Drink a 2 liter of soda in under 3 minutes

$250 - My Little Horror Story
watch the whole episode of My Little Pony S5 E9 (staff must be a non-fan or at least haven't watched an episode)

$300 - The Disturbing Anime Challenge
Watch a disturbing anime. Donators choice. If nothing is picked we will default to Boku no Pico

$350 - Let me Sing You the Song of My People
Sing a song of donators choice

    $400 - Otaku For Life
Go into a public place and record yourself scream as loud as you can "OTAKU FOR LIFE"

    $500 - Cool Off
Throw a water balloon at a random person

    $1000 - Pièce De Résistance
Spor takes a picture wearing a dress

    @Supernatural-Knight

Since you were having a problem finding something to do off camera this is perfect for you. Great way to start us off if you wouldn't mind.

See I don't mind doing that at all @Sporadic, but honestly I haven't had too embarrassing of a moment happen to me. I'm not one of these people that have dozens of crazy stories of drunk happenings because I don't drink. For $50 I'd imagine people would want some good dirt or a great laugh, my stories would go for $2 at most. I don't think I'd be able to think of 25 stories to share either.
I could post a few short but laughable experiences, that I was too naive to understand the context of at the time. If people are happy with that instead of crazy stories, then I'll gladly share some for the first threshold.
Reading my response makes me sad, I should start doing stupid things just to get a story out of it on my days off.

I'd also be fine with watching a disturbing anime, but not recording it, I'd leave my raw reactions in text form and maybe review it as well.

I guess I'll list the ones I can do:

    $50 - Fact or Fiction
Tell an embarrassing story of his/her past

    $100 - Sharpie Attack
Have a staff member write your name on their body in permanent marker.

$250 - My Little Horror Story
watch the whole episode of My Little Pony S5 E9 (staff must be a non-fan or at least haven't watched an episode)

$300 - The Disturbing Anime Challenge
Watch a disturbing anime. Donators choice. If nothing is picked we will default to Boku no Pico
[Jokes on you guys tho I've watched Boku no Pico]

Pls don't nominate me for the pizza or soda challenges, don't fuckin' ruin my diet. Also none of that Otaku shit either I'm already autistic enough to not warrant doing that challenge.

you just made everyone want to let you do the eating/drinking dare more.

wait so only one staff per dare? i thought most (if not all) will do the dare per item when achieved.

@Sporadic I have a story, not sure it qualifies as embarrassing enough to everyone else though.

This one time when I was an ornery kid transitioning from 3rd to 4th grade, I was in cub scouts with a friend. Well he has an older sister (8th grade at the time I think) and anytime she teased us, I would always say "ooo. I think she likes me" in the creepiest voice I could do, probably trying to imitate a movie/show I watched. From then on, they thought I had an "adorable crush" on his sister. I could no longer tease her without it backfiring.

When I ended up moving from Ohio to New Jersey, I had to start a new high school. As per usual, the credit requirements were that I had to take 2 years of a foreign language. To my dismay, the school didn't offer German so I had once again needed to choose a new language to learn (the first one being Japanese I took for half a semester my freshman year at my first high school before I had to move as a result from my father getting remarried). I wasn't too keen on Spanish or French, so I ended up opting for Italian. Mainly because it was a bit of an easy thing since I've known some Italian as I come from an Italian family. ANYWAYS, I was completely unaware that they were gonna throw me into the class right away. Mind you, like that previous week I was still fully immersed in German class.
When it came time to get to class, I did pretty good with learning and everything. Then as the semester neared its end, we all had to take the dreaded exam (oral and written). Oral exam went really well, got told my pronunciation was perfect. But apparently... when it came time for the written exam, I spaced out big time and answered the whole thing in German.
Thankfully I had an understanding teacher and he just let me retake the exam the next day.

One time, like 6 or 7th grade I was talking to a teacher and belched in her face by accident. I was sent home.

Wow, this is impressive even for spacing out standards xD

Once when I was in elementary school I peed my pants on a school trip to the movies. I had been drinking soda basically the entire time cause that's what kids do, and then left to go to the bathroom. But my jeans were on too tight and I couldn't get them off, so I legit stood there, right in front of a toilet bowl, as I peed myself. I had to go the rest of the movie and the bus ride back with a wet pair of jeans. It was traumatizing and embarrassing, and I still can't bring myself to wear jeans to a movie theater even though it makes no sense anymore.

Morale of the story, buy your kids jeans that actually fit them ;)

In 11th grade I showed up to class stoned out of my mind. The instructor was going over the test we were about to take. After he finished the explanation he asked if anyone had any questions. I mentioned how I didn't get my test yet... someone blurted out that no one got their test yet, and everyone started cracking up. I heard someone mention, "Tim, you're such a stoner." I STILL ACED IT, THOUGH!

This made me think of the movie big daddy. That sucks .

One things for sure all these embarrassing stories. First goal was a success. I like the concept of everyone that wanted to, pitching in for the goals. I think we should leave all goals open to those who want to do them. Instead of just having one peson do them. Allow anyone who wants to do them to post their pic, video, voice, or whatever needed as proof for these goals, to do so. It make it fun for everyone :)

I agree with Serenity actually, we need at least 1 person to do them obviously but as many people that want to do them should.

Okay so my story isn't embarrassing, nor do I even remember it happening to me because I was too young. @Miss Elegent Serenity I believe you'll enjoy this little story.
It takes place when I was 5 or 6. I got home from school sobbing, so of course my mother asks me what's wrong. I responded with "mum, does "shut up" begin with F"
Obviously she responded with "no sweetie, it doesn't. Why?"
me: I told someone to shut up, and I got in trouble for saying the F word.
mum: Don't worry sweetie, you shouldn't have got in trouble. That starts with S.
me: then what is the F word?
mum: well.... it starts with F and rhymes with duck
I had to think about the answer for a little while before finally coming to the proper conclusion.
mum: yep, now don't use that word okay.

As you can tell I was an innocent little thing back then, naive too. My mother said the same thing to my younger brother not long later and he immediately got it as if he had known it all along.
