Welcome to the 6th annual edition of Spooktober! Time to get spooky.

This month is obviously gonna be all about which character is the scarriest. Which character would you dress as on a Halloween party or which would you rather not encounter in a dark alley. It doesn't get much more simple than that. And to me this is probably the most entertaining game of the entire year. That's why we made it annual. We had originally only 16 characters that were nominated, but there were 16 more added to make this a full game. That means 32 characters, 1 match every day for the entire month with the final either on the last day of October or the first day of November.
I only have the characters on the bracket picture and not on a copy+paste list so i don't know who nominated who, it would take me alot of time to sort that out. I will tag everyone that's participating anyway for each match so it's gonna be up to you guys to check if it's your character.

There is going to be a prediction game, just a simple one though, we didn't have enough time to gather full bracket predictions. I will create a seperate thread for that with the rules of that game explained there.

Matches and dates:
Check the bracket. It's one match every day so match 1 on October 1st, match 2 on October 2nd, match 16 on October 16th, etc...

RULES:
- Keep your butthurt to a minimum.

- Votes must be tallied in order to be valid.

- Use the Spoiler Insert when needed.

- Do not make fake accounts in order for your contestant to win, they will be invalid, we know who participates in these games. To ensure this rule gets followed, a new account must have atleast 5 posts in other sections of this forum. The asylum does not count. If you are a new member you could for example introduce yourself to the community in the introduction thread.

- In the case of a tie, I will ask the two members who nominated each contestant to PM me a number.

- If you do not send in a number before one of the 2 characters are to start their next round, your character will be disqualified. If both numbers are not sent in time, both characters will be disqualified and the character in the next round will get a free pass.

- The match ends after the next match has been posted. Any votes within this time will count. (new rule)

- You cannot change your nominations once the game has started.

- I will tag everyone for every matchup. If you don't like being tagged that much just tell me and i will remove your name from that list and only tag you when it's your nominee.

- Rules are subject to change if necessary.

The rule was already there, it was probably created way back by bedheadred when we just started doing elimination games on JD, but i've added another part to it. This shouldn't be too hard to follow for new members and it shouldn't change anything to this months game.

I nominate him every year and support him every year. I've only seen his movie once on The Midnight Channel and he was my favorite character in that movie. Last year he actually reached the 2nd round before losing to Priscilla from Claymore. Let's Go Mr Shadow!!
