A thread for any discussion on All-Star weekend. Skill matches, All-Star games, teams, players, champ pick/ban opinions, pretty much anything anyone wants to talk about. You can even post your favorite quotes from the weekend, if you like. I know Phreak makes some great puns :p

The outcomes of the NA and EU games were, regrettably, pretty obvious. I got pretty tired by the time EU played so I didn't watch much of their game, I heard Diamond did well though.

As far as NA goes, I think DoubleLift and Xpecial were doing the best on the team. Dyrus did well in the sense that he didn't lose lane but not win either. Dyrus almost never loses lane, and if he doesn't win it then he ties it. I wasn't paying much attention to Scarra, but that is prolly because it didn't seem like he was doing anything in either of the games. Saint got behind early in the first game and couldn't really come back quickly. In the second game, Saint got too many kills, I though. He was playing Voli straight tank, so going 7-0 seems kinda unecessary to me. DoubleLift should have gotten a few of those bot lane, coming out of laning phase he was 1-1 (I think).

On the Chinese team, I thought their jungler was doing the best.

As far as the individual NA games go, NA should not have tried to fight as much as they did in the early game during game 1. Since they especially had Vayne, they needed to wait till mid and late game to fight. They gave up too many dragons, that is for sure. They did have a spectacular Baron fight/steal though....then Saint got caught and Varus had a beautiful ult. Game 2 I was pretty confident in. NA was doing great early game, other then my before mentioned concern with Saint. Since NA was going for an early game comp this time, I don't think they should have done that long Baron dance, or even went near baron at all. Dyrus had tele up a lot of the time, so he could have split push top/bot while the other four pushed mid lane, but Baron was unnecessary and obviously became a hindrance in the end. After that, OGN had the game in their pocket. Like I said before though, DoubleLift and Xpecial played pretty consistently trough both games, even though Double got caught a couple times during game 2.
