    Welcome everyone to our first ever Spacetember. This theme is about all the illusive alien characters.

    We need 32 nominations and time is short, so to start things each person can nominate two characters for this elimination.

    Soooooo, what are the rules? Characters that look like an alien or actual aliens? Cuz Koro-sensei (the pic u used) is not actually an alien since he is born on Earth

    Well in the interest of keeping it easy for people to nominate I was thinking of being rather lax with the rules. In Koro-sensei's case he looks like an alien and he even identifies himself as such at first. So I'd give him a pass. But Goku or Gohan I'd say should be out because they are honestly aliens in name only and are basically human otherwise. But if they are 100% not from Earth then I guess I could give them a pass even if they look completely human although I would discourage too many of those to keep the nominationg list colorful and unique.

    Preferably it would be better if you picked non Earth born entities but again nominationg gatering has been tough lately so I wouldn't complain much as long as, again, it's not just some guy who says he's an alien. or at least that is the policy I was going for.

    Yeah pretty much just follow Meta's rules for this theme, we all know that a lot of the "alien" anime characters are human in appearance in more than 50% of the shows anyway.
    Also I know Koro sensei isn't, but that is revealed later so it is spoiler territory and I couldn't find a better pic to represent aliens when I searched "anime alien" apart from Kill la Kill's Mako when she imitated alien in one of her speeches.

    Since Meta said he was okay I might as well nominate him.

    They do look humanoid but I can understand since they were both raised on earth. And in Gohan's case was not only born on earth but is actually half human. So for clarification, not because I wanna nominate one or anything, but what's your stance on other full blooded saiyans who were born on planet Vegeta and spent their lives there (like Bardock)?

    I guess I'd consider them valid enough but I probably wouldn't vote for them. Especially Vegeta who adapts to Earth life pretty fast. Besides if you are going DBZ there are so many more alien like Candidates to pick from. In fact we've already quickly gathered quite a few DBZ characters anyway so do we really need any more? We don't want this turning into a DBZ competition about who is the best DBZ character.

    Well like I said, I wouldn't nominate a saiyan anyways I just wanna gain a better understanding of rules for nominating. Like you said, there's a lot more characters to use from DBZ with more unique alien features.

    Speaking of, I'm changing my Kagura nomination to Frieza. Over-saturation ftw.

    @Nonononoki I can't find the anime you're Cthulhu comes from, can you provide a picture or a link of some kind or were you just going with the creature and not a character in general?

    So far not too bad a turn out, I'll give it one more day for others before 3rd nominations are accepted.

    I couldn't come up with an alien anime character so I ended up choosing an non-anime creature instead (because we had non-anime characters in previous games). Yeah, I'm just going with the creature and not a chracter in general.

    try looking for a quick list to help you. I googled one quick and looking at them is great for reminding you of those few series with good characters that you couldn't remember off the top of your head.
    You could always go with Nyaruko. While we don't have any actual images of her true form it's implied to be monsterous and we see the true form of who is apparently her brother Earth in the series so that might be a good hint. But she's apparently a Cthulhu like entity so since she's also an anime character she might be more fitting to the cometition. Also unlike Cthulhu she has a defined character and personality.

    The choice is yours in the end since this one also counts but although the only images I know of her all look human (unless you got with her kamen rider like suit) I'd still say she's a better pick in this case.

    Nyaruko absolutely sucked as a character [pretty average show too], in fact if she were to be chosen as Nono's option I'd vote against her.
