Someday's Dreamers' Kumichi Yoshizuki Launches New Manga

This year's 35th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazinerevealed on Wednesday that Kumichi Yoshizuki will launch a new manga tentatively titled Eito Carnival in the magazine's 50th issue in November. Yoshizuki posted a preview image of the manga from the 35th issue on Wednesday.

The magazine described the manga as a story about a shy boy who connects to the world from his own room and changes his life in a big way with a single video of him dancing a popular dance.

The magazine also revealed that Yōsuke Kaneda, Shun Hirose and Kōta Sannomiya, Negi Haruba, and Nozomi Hikasa will all launch new manga in the magazine this year, while Kōji Miura will launch a new manga in the magazine next year.

Yoshiyuki ended his Kimi to Boku no Ashiato ~Time Travel Kasuga Kenkyūsho~ (Your and My Footprints: The Time Travel Kasuga Laboratory) time-traveling romance series in Shueisha's Oh Super Jump seinen magazine in 2012. He then ended his Colomb Fille manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2013, and endedhis Magi no Okurimono manga in Shueisha's Grand Jump Premium magazine in 2014.

Yoshizuki launched his latest manga, Kimi to 100-kai Me no Koi (The 100th Love With You), in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2016, and ended it on February 2. Shueisha published the third and final compiled book volume of the manga on February 17. The manga adapts the live-action film of the same name, which opened in Japan on February 4.

Tokyopop published Yoshizuki's Someday's Dreamers magical slice-of-life manga in North America. The series inspired two television anime, two spinoff manga, and a live-action film. Sentai Filmworks released both anime series on home video in North America.
