@Jaysp656 helped me bring some ideas to fruition. Thanks for the work buddy. The old recent series, movies and download blocks were removed to display like this: The images show recently anime recently added to the site and are updated automatically when CMs add something. This stands out a lot more for new users of the site than our old method. It not only grabs attention but showing the image instead of just the title allows user to have a better grasp of what they're watching. When you hover your cursor over the images a short description transitions in (Jay's awesome idea!) The news posts are still on the page but have been moved down under the recent anime area as having this display above it will help increase our traffic and user friendly operations. In addition to this, the view of our anime lists was changed. When you click on a letter from our list the display has changed from text only to show an image and description instead. This view can be seen only when you filter by letter. If you view our complete anime list it is still text only because loading over 1,090 images and descriptions might lag some people out The merch block was also removed from the homepage and will be moved to our forum because regular forum users, people dedicated to our community, are more likely to buy merchandise than say a casual anime watcher. More changes will also be done throughout the week to the Drupal end of the site. Including adding a recent downloads and recent episodes sidebar block. We will also be removing the navigation block and intergrating its stuff into the navibar, same with the our content block, shortening the genre list and moving the affiliate links into our footer so we can remove the affiliates block. These changes are part of what I'm calling JustDubs revamp part 2. We are changing some much needed areas of the site that still reflect how JD.net was designed. These things worked well for us on both sites but the times and demands of anime viewers are changing and we must continue evolving to facilitate those needs. I might have missed something so this thread is open to questions and comments. Thank you all for your continued use of our site and we hope to continue better serving everyone.
