North American manga publisher Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Tuesday that it has licensed Ryuichi Yokoyama and Manmaru Kamitsuki's [Hihō] Mahō Shōjo no Sono Ato no Ninjō ([Sad News] The Later Daily Life of the Magic Girl) manga series and will release it under the title Unmagical Girl. The first volume is slated to ship on September 12.

    Seven Seas describes the story:
Pretty Angel Nirvana was everyone's favorite magical girl, and her TV show was watched in every home. But when an office worker's computer goes on the fritz, it brings the once fictional heroine Pretty Angel Nirvana out of the screen and into our world! Can this magical girl deal with the unmagical realities of everyday life? Find out what happens when a magical girl is asked to set aside her wand and stop fighting monsters to tackle grocery shopping and paying bills!

Yokoyama and Kamitsuki launched the manga with the title Sharenima! in August 2014 on Pony Canyon's online manga magazine PoniMaga, where it was serialized monthly until it ended in October 2016. Yokoyama wrote the story and Kamitsuki drew the art for the series. Ichijinsha published the first and second compiled volumes under its Rex Comics imprint in June, changing the title to [Hihō] Mahō Shōjo no Sono Ato no Ninjō.
