Seven Seas Licenses The Ideal Sponger Life Manga

Isekai manga follows salaryman summoned to be royal consort
Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Wednesday that it has licensed Tsunehiko Watanabe and Neko Hinotsuki's The Ideal Sponger Life (Risō no Himo Seikatsu) manga. Seven Seas will publish the manga in print and on digital platforms in single volume editions. The first volume is slated for March 12, 2019.

Seven Seas describes the story:

One day, average salaryman Yamai Zenjirou has an out-of-this-world experience—literally! He's pulled from Earth and dragged to another world where magic thrives and a gorgeous, powerful queen needs a consort. Now he's being pressured to marry that very monarch and help her bear a child. Will Zenjirou accept this life of lazy, luxurious love at the cost of leaving his home behind?
Watanabe launched the original novel on the Shōsetsu ka ni Narō! website in June 2011, and Shufunotomo published the first volume with illustrations by Jū Ayakura (Spice & Wolf) in 2012. Hinotsuki launched the manga in Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine in February 2017. Kadokawa published the manga's second compiled book volume in Japan on December 4.
