Seven Seas Licenses A Certain Scientific Accelerator Manga

Spinoff about Accelerator began in 2013
North American manga publisher Seven Seas Entertainmentannounced on Wednesday that it has licensed the manga A Certain Scientific Accelerator (Toaru Majutsu no Index Gaiden: Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator). The first volume is slated for October and the second is slated for January 2016.

Arata Yamaji began the spinoff series about the A Certain Magical Index character Accelerator in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in 2013. Kadokawa will ship the third compiled volume in April.

Yen Press is publishing Kazuma Kamachi's original A Certain Magical Index light novel series with illustrations by Kiyotaka Haimura as well as Chūya Kogino's A Certain Magical Indexmanga. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the A Certain Scientific Railgun manga. FUNimation Entertainment handles North American distribution of the anime adaptations.
