'Road to You' Anime Short Starring Hiroshi Kamiya, Miyuki Sawashiro Streamed

The Dunlop tire company's official Japanese website began streaming the "Road to You ~Kimi e to Tsuzuku Michi~" (Road to You: The Road That Goes On to You) anime short on Wednesday. The website also revealed the short's cast.



The cast includes:

• Hiroshi Kamiya as Ryōta, a new company employee
• Miyuki Sawashiro as Yuki, Ryōta's girlfriend
• Atsuki Tani as Toshirō, Mai's father
• Minami Tsuda as Mai, a second-year high school student
• Masumi Asano as Kei, a television and film actress
• Kenji Nojima as Jin, Kei's manager

The anime is a promotion for Dunlop's Winter Maxx 02 studless tires. The anime short's story is set in a certain snowy land and centers on the intermingling feelings of three pairs of men and women: a couple, a parent and child, and coworkers.

Manga creator Shin Takahashi (SaiKano, Kanata Kakeru) provided the shorts original character designs. Hiroshi Kawamata (Puka Puka Juju, Hal's Flute) directed the anime at The Answer Studio Co., Ltd. (Golgo 13, Flag). Kenichi Tsuchiya (The Garden of Words, your name.) designed the characters based on Takahashi's designs and served as chief animation director. Keina Suda composed the music.
