Pokemon Generation 1 Glitches

So I rewatched these videos again of Pokemon glitches. I had no idea how many of them there really were! I managed to try out getting a level 1 Nidoking, to make it level 100 and it actually worked!!



Have any of you tried these glitches, did you know about them before when the games came out?

 

How on earth do people find all these glitches!? Who would have thought getting someone in just the right place, or having just the right name would cause a glitch!?

 

So I'm about to do the walking through wall glitch to get mew two prior to beating the elite four, anyone knows if it breaks the game beyond repair?

 

@Negi-Springfield Are you playing Pokemon Yellow, or Red/Blue?

 

I play on Yellow for 3DS (all original glitches were kept).

I'm fairly sure it's too late for me to do the long range trainer glitch, otherwise I'd have tried my best to get mew.
But if I find one, I'll try to do the Ditto glitch.

I don't know if doing growl six times works on the ditto glitch, but I'll try.

Also, capturing mewtwo caused no problem.
I haven't really seen anything about it, so here's how I did it.

I used the glitch to walk through wall to get to the cerulean cave, there I catch mewtwo. You can't leave the cave (or enter it normally) because it is guarded, trying to leave it will get you stuck in the doorway on the other side. So to leave you will need to get your team to pass out.

 

@Negi-Springfield The reason for using Growl six times, is because you need a pokemon with the right amount of special to bring up the Pokemon that you want.

 

I also managed to do this glitch today with Pokemon Yellow. Now I also have a level 100 Nidoking on Yellow

 

I managed to get a level 100 Mew yesterday.

The hardest part for me is to find a second trainer that I can access without any HM, I found a guy in a cave I hadn't fought.

 

"Walking through the Wall to get Mew"? I've never gotten Mew that way. I've always used the Teleport Glitch up above Cerulean on Rt. 24. Pokemon Yellow of course.

 

I managed to perform the Mew glitch in Cerulean City as well. Both the Nidoking and Mew glitches work in all 3 versions!!

 

Not Mew, it was Mewtwo.

 

A glitch to get Mewtwo? Never needed one tbh. I just caught him the same way you normally would. lol. Why use a glitch when you can just catch him normally?

 

So I can catch him halfway through the game instead of when there's nothing left to do.
