The Pokémon Company International announced on Tuesday that it will offer bundled consoles for its digital release of Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow.

In North America, the company will release a New Nintendo 3DS with two sets of cover plates featuring Charizard and Blastoise. This system will have both Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue pre-loaded, along with a home menu theme. The bundle will ship on February 27, the same day the games launch on the Nintendo eShop.

In Europe, the company will release three Nintendo 2DS bundles in transparent red, blue, and yellow on February 27. Each console will have one of the three classic games pre-loaded, depending on the color. It will also come with a sheet of stickers and a download code for a home menu theme.

Europe will also get Pokémon Super Myster Dungeon-themed cover plates for the New 3DS on February 19, followed by classic Pokémon cover plates on February 27.

The Pokémon Company International also announced on Tuesday its plans to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2016. Its anniversary promotions include trading cards, merchandise, monthly legendary pokémon distribution at retail locations, digital releases of 12 Pokémon films, and DVD and Blu-ray releases for the first three films.
A Pokémon commercial will run during the Super Bowl on February 7.

The official Pokémon YouTube channel posted several of the videos submitted under #Pokemon20, where fans are encouraged to share Pokémon memories. The videos are from actor Ansel Elgort, football player Nate Irving, and Penny Arcade's Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik.

Upcoming products include Nendoroids of the game's classic starters' evolutions and protagonist, clothing, new trading cards, mythical Pokémon distribution, special Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue 3DS bundles, and the release of Pokémon Go and Pokken Tournament. Nintendo is also planning to re-release its Pokémon amiibo, like Jigglypuff and Charizard, to select retailers on February 27.

Fans of the original Pokémon films also have something to look forward to. Pokémon: The First Movie, Pokémon the Movie 2000 and Pokémon 3: The Movie will get digital remaster releases on DVD and Blu-ray from Viz Media. A total of 12 full-length Pokémon films will also be available on digital platforms.
