Official Teaser For The X-Files Hits
The truth is still out there...

Following on from a very brief clip earlier in the year, a new promo for the revival of The X-Files aired in two chunks during shows on the Fox network across the pond on Monday night. You can now check the whole thing out in one piece below.

The miniseries picks up with David Duchovny's Mulder and Gillian Anderson's Scully in very different places in their lives, but still committed to finding the truth behind the big conspiracies that have plagued them. But there’s also time to investigate other mysteries, too... And yes, there are definitely going to be appearances by old favourites such as William B. Davis' Cigarette Smoking Man, despite his seeming death by giant bloomin’ missile in the series finale back in 2002. And the likes of Mitch Pileggi, Annabeth Gish, Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, Bruce Harwood and Nicholas Lea are all back in some fashion. Mostly it seems like everyone is a bit more beardy. Well, not Scully.

Joel McHale, Lauren Ambrose, Robbie Amell and Rhys Darby are among the new co-stars, Chris Carter is at the controls as always, and The X-Files is back, at least on US screens, on January 24 next year.
