Level-5's game launches for PS4, PC worldwide on March 23
Bandai Namco Entertainment America began streaming a new promotional video on Monday for its and Level-5's Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom PlayStation 4 and PC game. The video tours Goldpaw City, and previews the game's collector's edition.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America also began streaming a behind-the-scenes video on Tuesday for the game that highlights Joe Hisaishi's music.

Additionally, the PlayStation YouTube channel began streaming a new 25-minute gameplay video for the game on Thursday. The video previews the game's story and battle system.

The channel also streamed a behind the scenes video for the game on January 26 that featured an interview with former Studio Ghibli character designer Yoshiyuki Momose, who designed the characters for the game. Bandai Namco Entertainment America previously streamed a different 25-minute gameplay video on January 4.

The game is slated for worldwide release on March 23 after several delays.

The game's "King's Edition" in Europe comes with a season pass for all future DLCs, a "Prince's Equipment pack" for digital in-game items, a steelbook case, an animated music box, a vinyl record including the game's main theme by Joe Hisaishi, an artbook, and a making-of Blu-ray Disc.

Those who pre-order the game will receive a digital sword set.

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino, artist Yoshiyuki Momose (The Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Only Yesterday, Pom Poko), and Hayao Miyazaki's longtime collaborator Joe Hisaishi (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away) are all returning for story and general direction, character designs, and music, respectively.

Level-5 debuted the fantasy role-playing game Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch for the PlayStation 3 in Japan in 2011, after a Ni no Kuni: Shikkoku no Madōshi game for Nintendo DS in 2010 and a game for Japanese phones. Namco Bandai Games then released Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch outside Japan in 2013. The RPG featured cut scenes from Studio Ghibli, although Ghibli was not specifically mentioned on the new sequel's staff.
