New Trailer For The Nutcracker And The Four Realms
With one quick look already out there and the movie on the way this November, Disney has revealed the latest trailer for The Nutcracker And The Four Realms. Venture into a fantasy world below...

The movie is expanding on E.T.A. Hoffman's original story, The Nutcracker And The Mouse King. This version finds Mackenzie Foy as a girl named Clara who is depressed at Christmas, missing her late mother. She's aching to find will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key – which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), the Sugar Plum Fairy (Keira Knightley), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world...

Yes, it would appear that a world-in-peril plotline is rearing its well-used head again, but we'll wait and see what the directors – Lasse Hallström handled the lion's share, with Joe Johnston stepping in for reshoots and some post-production work – bring to it.

The Nutcracker And The Four Realms will appear in cinemas on 2 November.
