@masterofflys, my problem was his death not the cage of death that he was driving around in. Turning him into a butter like product was stupid I think.

About this newest episode, the most surprising thing that happened was a panty shot of Sakura, can't say I expected to see that happen but at least it made sense for why it occurred. Sakura was a agent and then she becomes the next deceased, nooooooo. I actually liked her as a character since she definitely was interesting, why must you kill off the ones I find the most interesting, oh but I find most of them interesting.

So I'm trying to figure out Sakura's death, the powder and her size I have to assume she died via poison as I just don't think anyone could kill her using blunt force with 2 hits. Since we have a locked room I was wondering if it was at all possible if it could of  been suicide, but that was before she was shown to be bleeding. But my though of she was poisoned I think still stands, Sakura would always have a protein drink murderer added the toxin, after it took affect they felt the need to hide the true death and a combination of their own emotion made them hit her over the head. Locking the door with a chair is harder to explain but meh we haven't been given the investigation part of an ep yet.

I still want to know who the masked person was and where is the 16th student.

 

Damn this sucks, Sakura why must you of committed suicide. After seeing her corpse with the chair blocking the way I thought suicide since surely no one else would of been able to kill her but then she had the blood and my thoughts kind of changed. I was however sure that poison was what killed her, and when the swimmer said she did it I thought I was right with my second train of thought being that she snapped and since they were best friends nothing was suspected to be dangerous from her. The they had to go back to it being a suicide, ah man I should of stuck to my original thoughts just the blood threw me off a bit. That bastard psychic and bookworm were the ones that drove her to suicide, why Sakura you were even more interesting since being revealed to be the agent.

I also feel sorry for Alter Ego, he didn't do anything against the rules nor kill so why'd he have to die. Well no more interesting pictures. Sakura's note as well "the mastermind did something to our bodies", god damn what type of drug is this. then monokuma "oop  I can't read any more of this because of spoilers, I'll pay huh" is it wrong that I like this murderous aloof character?
16 student's name is also revealed, someone has some special privileges sine they can go against what monokuma says, super duper high school despair hell yes commence actions, do something!!

 

So Naegi was thrown under the bus, or rather just that weight, because Kirigiri wanted to continue investigating how nice friendship is. And he just forgives her, well she does get him out but still...
Also how the hell did she get down to the garbage dump? I only remember seeing an incinerator with the dump's reveal only being for the disposal of Naegi's body. Once that happened though I was hoping he'd chance upon one of the others bodies, preferably the Idols since he said they'd get out together, maybe throw him into a pit of despair for a little at least. Well at least they confirmed everyones thoughts about what Kirigiri was, obviously being a detective.

So 16th is still alive right? [I'm not sure anymore as its been half a week and more than 20 eps of other stuff in between] But this investigation to solve every mystery, I hope it takes a while unlike when they discovered Sakura's corpse.

 

I felt the series could have gone a little better. The premise started out strong and the detective / mystery aspect had me on the hook. But it felt rushed. I hear there was a good deal of detail about the characters left out from the game. Which is why I'm initially hesitant towards video game or visual novel adaptations. The teaser was a nice touch, regardless of how short it was. Gave me a little satisfaction that it was going to continue at some point. Keeping it short for now, I'll be writing my usual end of season reviews during the week so I'll have more to contribute at a later time.

 

Yeah this show while being good it wasn't anything that great, I mean it did its job of being entraining and did make us ask questions but it just wasn't s good as it could have been. I haven't played the game but can tell that a lot of details must of been skipped as well. When searching youtube and you see that a "part 2" vid of the trial uploaded is an hour and a half it really makes you wonder how much was left out to complete the entire case [in most situations] into just 45 minutes.

I didn't think the model would be the mastermind, but I was more a fan of her with the freckles so it is a shame that the the soldier had to be killed so early but whatever thats  a murder game for you.

I was confused about the torture method of the despair model, there was a space scene in that torture vid yet no one was executed that way. every other scene was done on the guilty and then alter ego so where did that scene come from?

Also that moment when searching voice actors and you see that Kirigiri is actually voiced by the same person as DxD's Rias Gremory and Kingdom's Qiang Lei, I had absolutely no idea, did anyone notice?



Also I'd like to bring everyones attention to this part from one of the first PV's. Early on I was sure the psychic was going to die, when he didn't I thought he'd be next, the reason for this is that he is clearly the deceased in this shot of the sample one of 15 seconds
This looks like he was killed in place of the model as she was the only person to be stabbed once and slumped against a wall, I am wondering if this was to throw people off such as myself that payed attention to these things or could he being alive be a deviation from the original game?
