New Release Club's Danganronpa Discussion

An awesome ep although I still miss the blue hair girl ... The animations are awesome, I didn't know there were from the game style till it was pointed out it adds such an awesome effect. At the end of the episode there faces! As of yet I havnt got a fav character, its going to be hard to get attached to anyone since there is a high chance they will die

I am only coming here after I watch the newest episode from now on.

 

I really hope it wasn't the glasses girl who did it, because that would be way too obvious, considering the end of the episode. Another question is how did she pick up those weights shes doesn't seem that strong to do so.

I got the impression the changing room mats and posters had been switched, too. Explains the missing coffee stain, and the mismatched posters. BUT if we're going on this premise, it pretty much had to be a male character who killed her, since only a male would have access to the mens' changing room. This would be supported by the fact that the victim's PDA is missing- the killer would have needed a girl's PDA to switch the rooms around.

What doesn't make much sense to me is this connection to that serial killer, didn't seem to be explained very well, but then we seem to be about to hear more about that anyway.

 

Well i hope the fat guy did it... I don't like him at all.

 

I don't think that he has the muscle to lift that weight. I'm suspicious of the muscle chick. But what MasterofFlys said kinda makes sense.

Am I the only one who thinks that they don't have enough time investigating?

I suspect the latter, because otherwise, why would monobear bother with the 'no taking other students' PDAs' improvised rule when the girls brought it up? And given the circumstances of the previous murder, I suspect Monobear is willing to flout certain rules in favour of a 'black', so long as they don't state an explicit punishment. I could still see someone getting shot up by that MG though >_>

@Lunar I agree, in both cases, they've rushed through the evidence collection stage at breakneck pace, as if they're trying to cram a huge amount into a relatively short number of episodes. A shame, really, but I'm still looking forward to episode 5! ^_^

I dont think it was muscles because, well, it was too well setup to look like she did it.

The extension cord and the fact that sir books a lot knows exactly how she was murdered raises an eyebrow as well.

 

That books a lot may die aswell. Annoying person.

A girl looking like a guy and a guy looking like a girl.. What is wrong with this anime?

 

It sucks because I thought Chihiro was cute.
You know, except for his "Lets all be friends" attitude.
Rule number 1 of a survival horror game, just stay alone and interact with no one.

So since we're almost at the halfway point, I'll give you my impressions:

Spoiler: General Thoughts

I think this anime is average at best.
It feels like everything is going "according to plan" at the moment.
You can tell who is going to die if they have a lot of dialogue during a span of 1-2 episodes, which makes the deaths predictable.
At the moment I'm not enjoying it as much as I was the first 3 episodes, but I'll continue to watch.
Least it's better than Symphogear G.
Wait, scratch that, ANYTHING is better than Symphogear.
