New Fate/stay night Anime is 'Unlimited Bladeworks,'

    The staff and cast of the upcoming Fate/stay night anime announced on Sunday at the Fate/stay night announcement conference in Shinagawa, Tokyo that the story of the anime will follow the original game's 'Unlimited Bladeworks' route. A new promotional video for the anime premiered at the event.

    The staff also announced that the anime will premiere on Japanese television on October 4, and will be split up into two cours. The latter half of the anime will premiere in April 2015. Newcomer Mashiro Ayano will perform the anime's first opening theme song "ideal white," while musical group Kalafina will perform the first ending theme.

    The staff list includes:

    Original character designs: Takashi Takeuchi

    Character Design: Tomonori Sudou, Hisayuki Tabata, Atsushi Ikariya
    Color Key: Emi Chiba, Mika Matsuoka
    Art Director: Koji Eto

    Music: Hideyuki Fukasawa
    Animation Production: ufotable

    The event also unveiled a new main key visual for the anime:

    A film adaptation of the 'Unlimited Bladeworks' route of the original game premiered in Japanese theaters in 2010 with animation by Studio DEEN. Sentai Filmworks licensed and released the film in North America in 2012.
