This year's 10th issue of Shueisha's Margaret magazine revealed on Friday that Nana Shiiba's Kakugo wa Ii ka Soko no Joshi. (Are you ready? Hey you girl!) romantic comedy manga will get a live-action film adaptation that will open on October 12. Taishi Nakagawa will star in the film as protagonist Towa Furuya.

The magazine previously hinted on April 5 that Shiiba's Haru wa Mijikashi Koise yo Danshi (Springtime is Short, Fall in Love, Boys) manga will have an "important announcement" in the next issue.

Kakugo wa Ii ka Soko no Joshi. centers on Towa Furuya, a handsome guy who has always had girl admirers, but has never had a girlfriend and remains a virgin. He resolves that he will get a girlfriend, and casually picks the cool and beautiful freshman Misono Miwa. When he attempts to spontaneously ask her out, she refuses him aggressively. But the more Towa thinks about her, the more he falls in love with her.

Shiiba launched the manga in Margaret in February 2014, and ended it in July of the same year. Shueisha published two compiled book volumes for the manga.
