My Love Story!! English Dub Casts Tia Ballard as Rinko Yamato

    Sentai Filmworks announced with a video on Wednesday that Tia Ballard will play Rinko Yamato in its English dub of the My Love Story!! anime.

    Sentai Filmworks previously announced that Andrew Love will play Takeo Goda.

    The anime's home video release was previously set for two volumes, with the first volume shipping in October, but it is now shipping in one volume on December 20.

    The series ran from April to September 2015. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.

    Viz Media is publishing Kazune Kawahara and Aruko's shōjo romantic comedy manga in North America.

    It describes the story:
    Takeo Gōda is a giant guy with a giant heart. Too bad the girls don't want him! (They want his good-looking best friend, Sunakawa.) Used to being on the sidelines, Takeo simply stands tall and accepts his fate. But one day when he saves a girl named Yamato from a harasser on the train, his (love!) life suddenly takes an incredible turn!​

    Okay so I don't mind that clip for a dub cast reveal since it is a bit more creative and has them portray the characters instead of just voice them. But this being dubbed, ugh. I can't remember what Tia Ballard has done from the top of my head, but her voice is memorable [and I haven't watched a dub in how long?]. There is no way Takeo will be as manly in the dub.
    I'll stick with the Japanese version of this should I ever watch it again, like everything I watch now.
