[IMG]FUNimation Entertainment announced on Thursday that it will not premiere the English dub of the first episode of My Hero Academia's third season on the same day as Japan as previously planned. The notice explained that the Japanese staff will not be able to send the episode early for dubbing due to production delays.

Funimation will stream the English-subtitled version instead. The company projected that the English dub of the second episode will premiere as scheduled.

The new season will premiere on April 7, and will remain in the 5:30 p.m. timeslot on Saturdays that the second season held on YTV, NTV, and 27 other network affiliates. Funimation planned to stream the English dub of the first six episodes on the same day they premiere in Japan. Crunchyroll and Hulu will stream the series with English subtitles. The season is listed with 25 episodes.
