My Hero Academia Ranks #1 On U.s. Monthly Bookscan February List

Kōhei Horikoshi's manga My Hero Academia volume 11 ranked at #1 on NPD BookScan's Top 20 list for February.

This month's list featured eight manga volumes including:

• #4 — Shirō Miwa's RWBY
• #8 — Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul:re volume 3
• #10 — Eiichiro Oda's One Piece volume 85
• #11 — Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball Super volume 2
• #13 — Sankichi Hinodeya's Splatoon volume 1
• #14 — Yana Toboso's Black Butler volume 25
• #17 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 1

The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Amazon, Walmart.com, and some other venues.

NPD BookScan announced in September it plans to add in sales numbers from comic book stores in partnership with Diamond Comics and indie retailers in the coming year, but hasn't yet revealed a specific date the change will take place.
